Good morning and welcome to this wonderful new day.
A day in which all things are possible.
Let's set the intention together now.
For this day to be a day in which we touch the bravery that lies in our heroic self.
The self in which difficult circumstances are viewed as an opportunity for growth.
Whenever you are ready,
Wherever you are,
Get comfortable.
You can sit or lie down.
Close your eyes gently.
Relax.
Feel the weight of your body relaxing into the support beneath you.
Slow down your breathing a little.
Breathing slightly longer.
Slower breaths.
Feel the sensations that arise with the breathing process.
Move your awareness to a point just below the navel.
In Japan this is called the Hara.
It is a center of strength.
Breathe and feel this area rising and falling.
Tuning into the sensations here.
This is not an aggressive center.
It is our center of being.
And is the center of balanced strength.
The warrior who operates from this center is strong,
Stable and unshakable.
Knowing when to yield.
Powerful when still and when moving.
Now repeat the following affirmations,
Silently or out loud.
Allowing the words to resonate within you.
I confidently set and communicate clear boundaries.
This enables me to thrive at work and at home.
I confidently set and communicate clear boundaries.
This enables me to thrive at work and at home.

I prioritize my well-being by establishing boundaries that protect my mental and emotional health.

I communicate my boundaries with clarity,
Allowing for mutual understanding and respect in the workplace.

Respecting my own boundaries allows me to contribute more effectively and more positively at my work.

By maintaining healthy boundaries,
I cultivate a workplace that values balance,
Respect and overall well-being.

The following are boundary statements.
Choose one that resonates with you,
And if none do,
Change them or make up your own.
We will use the boundary statement in the visualisation practice that follows it.
I want to do my best work and I won't be able to do that right now.
I'd like to take a break and come back to this in a couple of hours,
After we've both had time to think.
I'm feeling overwhelmed right now,
So it's hard for me to focus on your feedback.
I would like to take a break and discuss this later.
My reasons are personal and I don't have to explain them to you.
I want to understand what you're trying to accomplish with this feedback.
Can you explain the reasoning behind it?
Pick a phrase that resonates with you.
And think of a time when it would have been the right thing to say.
Rerun the event in your mind.
Test the boundary phrase in that situation.
Imagine yourself speaking the words from your horror.
Your centre of strength,
Just below the navel.
Allow yourself to feel any emotions that arise.
Anxiety,
Anger.
Picture yourself remaining firm.
Like a tree in a storm.
Able to feel these sensations without being overwhelmed by them.
Without acting on them.
If you feel anxiety,
Could you reframe those accompanying physical sensations as excitement?
You're excited to be alive in a moment of your great transformation.
You are reclaiming your power.
That is something to be excited about.
Imagine the person's reaction and don't let it affect your response.
You will deliver your message unshakably.
The one who remains calm wins.
Perhaps you can both remain calm.
Both win.
Try not to see this person as an enemy,
But rather someone who is sent to teach you inner strength.
Maybe this person will change completely when they understand your boundaries and see your strength.
Now to today.
Visualise your day unfolding smoothly and effortlessly.
See yourself engaging with tasks and communicating with confidence and ease.
Feel a sense of gratitude for the people and experiences that enrich your life.
All experiences rightly viewed have value if we can dig deep enough to find the gold.
Take a moment to set your intention for the day.
How would you like to feel at the end of the day?
And now return to your breath feeling it deep in the hara.
Bringing the practice to a close and bringing the peace and strength of this meditation out into your world is a deep blessing to all who you meet today.
Open your eyes.
Daily practice of this meditation will change your world.
You are powerful.
You are blessed.
