Welcome.

You've arrived at Michelle sanctuary and are listening to a mystical meditation and hypnotic sleep story,

Night in Ha Long Bay.

I am Michelle and should you wish to return to this video in the future I invite you to subscribe before we begin so you may easily find us again.

And as you are listening please find a safe and quiet place where you are free to unwind,

De-stress and prepare for this mystical journey of the mind.

Letting your body relax,

Feeling heavy as you sink into the bed that supports you below.

Knowing that anything floating through your mind can wait for tomorrow.

As you are now free to set yourself for the night.

Free to let go of all that cannot be solved right now.

Free to indulge and even spoil yourself by focusing only on you and your desires.

Because in order to be the best you can be for others you must take this time to heal and nurture and restore yourself.

You deserve this.

And we are going to take a few deep breaths together.

Tying each inhalation and each exhalation with a thought or idea.

So just empty out all your air to begin and inhale.

Letting the healing clean night air fill all the spaces and dark crevices of your body.

Allowing your body to expand like a balloon.

Exhaling now as you release all your tensions from the day.

Pushing out the air from the deepest spaces along your lower abdomen and diaphragm,

Chest and shoulder blades.

And now inhaling gratitude and peace for one two three and exhaling anxiety for three two one.

Inhaling love and light for one two three and exhaling tension and fear for three two one.

Inhaling peace and stillness for one two three and exhaling worry for three two one.

And one last time inhaling the word let for one two three and exhaling the word go for six five four three two one.

Letting go.

Perfect.

You may return to a shallow and easy breathing.

Cuddling up as we venture on this magical night in Ha Long Bay.

Ha Long Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin offers emerald waters gently lapping between more than 2,

000 limestone formations.

Creating a safe sanctuary with its protective barriers and these milky gray limestone karsts are covered with tropical evergreen forests appearing like island hills and humps speckled throughout the sea green waters.

And you may visualize that you are aboard a junkboat cruise.

A colorful boat of red and turquoise green with three open golden sails that extend like paper fans into the sky.

You find yourself on the deck of this boat which is here just for you.

With no specific destination you have already arrived.

This journey into the gentle waves rocking back and forth slowly to take in the majestic natural beauty that surrounds you.

And you inhale the salty air with gratitude as you find you are relaxing in a lounge chair atop the main deck of the boat.

Cruising among the towering islands as the Sun begins to set in the distance.

Perhaps you have a beverage that is a relaxing elixir,

Your favorite tropical delight enlivening your palate and bringing you closer to a state of bliss as you inhale and exhale.

And as the Sun goes down disappearing behind the orange haze you feel the hypnotic rocking back and forth and back and forth on the boat wishing to distill this memory.

Just as you have captured the beautiful memories of warm sunsets in the past and days that felt completed with perfection.

Imagining that you have a small glass vial where you may encapsulate the beauty of this sunset as a magenta orb of a Sun ducks down behind the rocky islands and the emerald lapping waters.

Imagining taking this glass vial,

Sealing this experience with a cork stopper and placing it in the wall of shelves in your mind holding many more vials,

Beautiful experiences this life has brought you.

Knowing that at any time you wish you may visit these tidally organized compartments or enchanted memories stay alive within glass vessels accessible and ready to transport you to serenity whenever you so desire.

And doesn't it feel good to be the owner of these beautiful sense memories and having access whenever you so wish?

Just knowing they are there for you sending a rippling wave of warmth as if you are covered by a soft plush heated blanket bringing you deeper and deeper down towards stillness.

Darkness begins to take hold and in moves a mist around the bay surrounding you and your boat like whispering gray and white blankets of fog carrying the sacred history and safety brought by these prehistoric formations.

Letting you know that you are welcome.

You are right where you belong.

Right now.

And as the darkness comes in your boat is docked in the center of two limestone formations for the night.

Sky so dark above the water is now twinkling as if the stars have switched places with the bay and you approach stairs that lead you to a lower deck where you may sit and allow your feet to dangle.

Looking out onto the sparkling waters and you see a silver flashes from dancing squid dash across the waters like shooting stars in a night sky as if nature's show is existing right now just for you.

Inviting you kindly to see the enchantment all around feeling so included and such gratitude and nothing heals the spirit and the mind like the wave of gratitude that you feel right now.

And in the cool misty air you sit for some time as you inhale and exhale.

Feeling a deep contentment as the heavy tiredness from the full day begins to sink in.

Inhaling again and exhaling.

Watching a few more silver streaks across the calm water before closing your eyes and recognizing it is time to go to your private quarters.

And so you stand feeling almost as if you were gliding across the deck of the boat as it rocks back and forth.

Walking down the long narrow hallway towards your sleeping quarters.

Counting each step as you walk along the shiny wooden beams of the floor.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

And the fiery orange glow of lanterns that illuminate the way are flickering as shadows dance across the walls and you approach the heavy door to your room.

Taking a large antique metal key from your pocket you feel the engraved metal coolness of the object.

Pushing it into the lock and feeling as it clicks into place.

Feeling so conscious of every detail.

This click into place makes you think of times when everything in your life just fit.

Just worked out.

Knowing this is something that happens quite often when you pay attention.

The perfect click in the right place at the right time.

And you open the door and take in the calming night air that is redolent with your favorite fragrances.

Feeling the cool solid wood door as you close it behind you.

And before you is a plush bed with large pillows and soft pajamas that await you.

And you turn down the bed as you undress and change into the soft cotton bed clothes that are monogrammed with your initials.

Feeling so tended to and cared to.

Feeling important because you are.

And you deserve every lovely sensation this night brings.

Behind the bed are windows that run the length of the quarters from ceiling to the floor.

And you leave the curtains drawn so you may continue to see the luminescent streaks across the water from dancing squid.

Guiding yourself into the soft welcoming bed as you feel so very tired and heavy.

Letting your body sink deeper and deeper down.

Letting yourself just go from head to toe.

And under the soft fresh smelling sheets and down comforter you inhale and exhale.

And just take account of what is going on in your body in this moment.

Releasing any tension or stress that still remains.

Visualizing that you may release it all into the night.

Out the window towards the misty waters.

Allowing all tension and anxiety to just float away to where things go that are no longer needed.

And out the window you may no longer see the limestone islands that surround you.

But just as the walls of the room surround you,

You sense the inherent safety they provide.

Feeling that nothing may interfere or interject into the utmost of security you have right now.

The walls of your sleeping quarters are made of a varnished knotted wood.

Shiny and unique.

You are now taking note of them.

Letting this room with all its surrounding safety act as a special orb that protects you.

In this special place you are free to unwind.

Let this tired heavy feeling take over.

You are safe to let yourself drift towards dreams.

Drift towards whatever imagery appeals to you.

Continuing to rock with the lapping waves that wash along the boat.

Lulling you like a small child safely rocked asleep in a rocking chair.

Nurturing you.

Calming you.

You are able to trust this.

This feeling of release.

There is power in release.

There is beauty in this perfect alignment of energy.

As the rhythm of your breathing matches the rhythm of the waves.

Floating and drifting.

And on this night,

This magical night of your own design.

Amid the misty air of Ha Long Bay with all its glory and majestic beauty you may continue to drift to beautiful and safe places.

Going with the flow and surrender.

That is your only priority and concern.

To stay in alignment with yourself.

Letting go.

Going further and deeper down.

Feeling as tiredness may take over.

And you are free to fall asleep whenever you so desire.

To bring you on this easy floating transition towards sleep.

I am going to count you down.

Down to a sleep that will carry healing dreams.

That will bring a brighter tomorrow.

You will awaken and feel refreshed and committed to continuing on this path of healing and enchantment.

Finding yourself in tune with moments of magic and beauty in nature that is always there.

Just waiting to attract your attention.

You'll find how easy it is to return to ease.

Any time you like.

Remembering how good it feels to float and go with the tide.

Ten.

Feeling love.

Nine.

Drifting down.

Eight.

Taking in the beauty and ease of being as you float.

Seven.

Going down,

Down.

Six.

Feeling alignment.

How each piece comes together as it should.

Five.

Serene and at peace.

Four.

Floating.

Three.

Finding the flow and going with it.

Two.

Drifting down,

Down,

Down.

One.

Finding peace.

Finding sleep.

Finding stillness.

Goodnight.

I love this guided meditation by Michelle. I've visited Halong Bay, and this reminds me of the sense of wonder and awe I experienced as we traversed the mystical calm waters on a junk boat. Michelle's vivid description of the unusual ancient limestone peaks that tower out of the emerald waters, brought back happy memories for me. And as always, her soothing voice was capable of switching off the mental chatter in my brain, thus enabling me to fall into a deep, relaxing sleep. Thank you Michelle. Namaste to all 🙏🏼🤍🌸💖🕊️
