Good morning my friend.

It's time for a new day.

You are listening to a guided meditation to start your day with joy and gratitude.

I am Michelle and would like to welcome you to Michelle's sanctuary.

If you have listened to my voice at night to drift to sleep,

I am here now as your morning guide to help you fine tune your day and set your intentions.

You may listen to this in the comforts of your bed when you first awaken or be seated in a comfortable position wherever suits you.

If it is possible to meditate in sunlight as it pours into your home,

Find that special place.

And if not,

Imagine the dawning of a new morning cloaks you in golden warm rays.

Feel grateful for this time that you have to imagine and set your intention.

One small positive thought may inspire an entire day.

Right now you may tune your mind like a musician tunes their instrument to make the most melodious and beautiful sounds.

With your eyes closed,

Take in a deep breath.

Sip in the air like a delicious glass of fresh clean water that purifies you.

Open your mouth and stretch your arms overhead.

And then exhale and feel how relaxed you are in this state between sleep and a new beginning as you wake up.

Wayne Dyer expressed,

Our intentions set our reality.

Perhaps there are mornings you awaken and don't recognize the power that you have.

I am here to remind you,

Before any other thoughts or outside influences may affect your new day,

That you are in charge of your intention.

You are in control of the day's direction.

Take in another deep breath,

Feeling your body expand with life.

Feel the aliveness,

The energy flowing from head to toe as you awaken.

And then sigh out your air and just let go.

Return your breath to normal,

Still paying attention and giving gratitude for each new breath.

Every conscious breath is a meditation.

It is that easy.

And throughout the day,

If you need to reconnect with feeling good,

You may return your attention to a breath or two.

And remember,

This is your life.

And it is yours to live in a way that brings joy and gratitude.

Place your hand on your heart and feel it beat.

Steadily and with a mission.

Tune into your own mission and intention.

It need not be complicated.

You know what you most want out of this day.

You are the hero in your own story.

Recognize how special it is that only you get to experience life through your eyes and the lens of all that you believe and feel.

You get to choose how you relay these experiences.

You get to choose who you want to become and you need not take a big action.

The little actions and intentions over time are what add up and present themselves with blessings and realized dreams.

On the backs of your closed eyelids,

See yourself happy at a point in this day.

A point where you can laugh even if surprises pop up because you have the deep knowing that you are on the right path.

You carry the secret that illuminates you.

Your intention that you keep near your heart.

And it fills you with life.

There is no wrong path.

And you get to choose how to respond and who to be.

Feel your lips curl up in a smile.

Your face is relaxed.

And even if it feels silly,

Try it anyway.

It's okay to be silly.

It's okay to try new things.

Where they will help you grow and spark an aliveness deep within you.

A reminder that so much is unwritten and you get to set the tone for your life.

You are the author of your day.

No one else does that.

Only you.

Whatever your intention,

Whatever it may be,

It may be as simple as a continuous appreciation for all that happens today.

It may be stepping away and observing yourself and things that are happening rather than letting them affect your state of mind.

It may be to love yourself and tell yourself again and again throughout the day,

It's your day.

It's your choice.

Taking a deep breath and let your heart rise towards the sky,

Open to receiving,

Open to growth.

Then sigh out your breath and let this relaxed state be the state you maintain in the place you reset to throughout the day.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Flutter open your eyes.

And remember,

Today is unwritten.

And you are the maker of your day and life.

It's time to live your dreams.
