This guided sleep meditation and story will connect you with your imaginative mind as you find respite along the Arubian shores where a partner is waiting for you and guides you to a sacred garden where you may find deep love and a sprinkle of romance.
Sometimes when seeking love,
Be it romantic or the love of a friend or family member,
We may find ourselves shut off from past disappointments.
Sometimes our hearts remain closed shut in fear of being hurt again or experiencing rejection.
Sometimes we may worry that we are unworthy of this love and may feel insecure.
When this happens,
Pain becomes too familiar.
And continuing with these ideas that are merely thoughts and thoughts alone,
The feelings of loneliness and defeat and the belief that nothing will work out,
Begin to feel familiar and second nature.
But this is merely a pattern that has formed.
And as you lie down and take off on this Caribbean experience,
You may reset your own intention and internal dialogue so that you truly feel the radiant wave of love and potential in finding your true match.
And if you are already in a relationship,
So too may you open your heart and rekindle the sparks and electrifying sensation and sense of safety that brought you into a loving relationship in the beginning.
So find a place to get cozy and allow your eyelids to fall heavily upon your tired eyes.
Let your body decompress and let go of any impressions of your day.
Feeling them just drain out of your body.
As your muscles relax.
As your face and jaw relax.
And your limbs and spine relax.
Surrendering and going deeper and deeper within.
Inhale deeply while focusing on the words I deserve before exhaling on the word love.
And then inhale focusing on the words my heart.
And exhale the words is open.
Feeling open hearted.
The warmth that comes from your sternum and heart center radiates like a headlight.
Your beacon of light atop a lighthouse.
Like the switch to a neon sign that reads open on a store or restaurant.
You are sending a signal to the universe and your partner that you are ready to receive love and connect on a deep level.
Feeling this warmth continue to reverberate as the light now becomes invisible to the eye and you are able to retreat in the safe darkness and sanctuary of your womb.
Your heart continues sending out the frequency needed to bring you the nurturing love and peace that you so rightfully deserve.
Visualize your feet sinking with each step into the soft sands of the northern Aruban shore.
Now made a glossy salmon pink by the disappearing sun on the horizon and incoming tide.
Your feet are immersed in the waters as the sky darkens into deeper shades of burgundy and amethyst and sapphire blue.
A beacon of light cuts through the sky from the lighthouse to the north and this warm glow shining through the night's sky like a continuous shooting star reminds you of the invisible beacon of energy that originates in your heart center offering guidance to the person that waits for you.
And while you are ready to find love you are also now comfortable in your own solitude.
You feel the years of growth and personal discovery that have led you to this moment in time right now.
So very sure of the love that you deserve,
Of the needs that you have and need not let go of because of fear or self doubt.
You feel steadfast in believing that love is out there and you are ready and yet still content in your own company.
You deeply breathe in the salty air as the trade wind blows the powdery cool white sand across the beach while you walk beneath the full moon that has risen above the placid,
Translucent turquoise waves that gently crash upon the shore.
The beach is quiet before a group of topaz crabs that scuttle across the wet sand and the melody of gentle waves that crest and flow.
The water flows like metallic ribbons of silver and iridescent blue reflecting back the moon as ivory foam of a crashing wave coats your bare feet.
You swing your arms carelessly adorned in buttery soft clothing that billows in the beloved trade winds of Aruba.
Feeling alone,
So happy with who you are,
Relaxed and open,
Enchanted by the seemingly endless bounty of bliss in this moment.
And just when you cannot imagine feeling more full,
You recognize a familiar silhouette of someone down the shore walking towards you with an energy that is peaceful and kind.
And all your chakras are vibrating and resonating beneath the moonlight and gentle sounds of palms rustling in the breeze.
At the same tempo,
You walk towards one another and know instantly that you are each other's person.
The voice of intuition that has guided you throughout your life is there,
Whispering with a loving softness that matches the tone of this Aruban coastline where the waves,
The breeze,
The sensations upon your skin are gentle and kind,
Easy and enjoyable.
And you are calm.
And you are ready to receive this love as the energy stream of two open hearts merges into a strong bond,
Now connected.
No longer searching.

The sole occupants on this moonlit shore,
Beneath a quilt of glittery silver stars overhead,

To go after all the dreams you may have with this person by your side to support you and lift you with a smile and a laugh whenever you need it,
And knowing that you too may be the rock,
The solid team player and number one fan for your partner.
And tonight is for the two of you to continue beneath the magical sky and tepid tropical air.
Your partner takes your hand and guides you to a secret hidden pathway off the beach,
Nestled within a cluster of palm trees.
A dark path is illuminated by the light of the moon as you are led through a path nestled within thick shrubs and palms until you reach a dark mahogany door with a heavy cast iron knocker.
Your mate encourages you to knock and so you grasp the cool handle in your palm and knock three times,
Feeling a tingling sensation that travels from the cool metal in your hand all the way up your arm and sends a gentle shiver up your spine.
The door opens automatically,
Swinging heavily forward as you find yourself cast under the glow of silk lanterns that hang around a white trellis covering the entry to a garden.
The lanterns are aglow in shades of emerald green and burgundy and golden yellow and burnt orange and purple.
You go beneath the trellis,
Parrying up through the white lattice roof to see the stars and full moon above.
The opening is large enough to accommodate a large group of people,
But for right now,
It exists just for the two of you.
And beneath the trellis is a self-playing piano that begins to play a song that you have always thought of as your song together.
The unheard lyrics as the melody plays upon the keys fill your head as your partner takes your hand and you begin to dance.
And if you have ever felt awkward before,
Moving your body to music,
Right now you feel safe and carefree.
You feel like you could float across the trade winds and drift across the sea,
Floating up to the sky above with your partner as you dance the night away.
When your eyes meet,
As if diving into one another's souls beneath the kaleidoscope of colorful lanterns that cast a glow on each of your faces,
Peering within the eyes of one another,
You wish you could swim in the depth of love and understanding that is right before you.
Knowing that this connection does not allow you to lose yourself,
But rather allows you to truly inhabit your body in this present moment in a way that you feel so alive.
The energy tingling from the crown of your head down your spine and across your skin,
Creating goosebumps everywhere.
Twisting your foreheads against one another,
Swaying to the music and enjoying the sensation of bliss and connection.
As if the entire island of Aruba and the Milky Way above exists just for you and your love right now.
And as the song comes to an end,
You peel yourself apart from one another and continue to walk into the magical garden.
Fuchsha Borghenvillya and Ivy wrap around the high garden walls that are adorned in Balinese style wooden fixtures as white paper lanterns are strung overhead across the garden swaying in the island's breeze.
Hand in hand,
You both walk barefoot along the garden's pathway,
Upon the cool ceramic tiles of hand painted turquoise damask patterns.
This walkway is hypnotic and puts you further into a dreamy state as the soles of both of your feet move in an audible shuffle.
You come upon a marble water fountain that replicates the imagery of two star crossed lovers intertwined in a kiss and carved by the careful approach of an artist who put all of her own love into this piece.
The hibiscus and shades of vibrant pink and lilac surround the fountain in full bloom.
Everything in this artistic and lush garden has been nurtured by love and detailed care.
The indigenous Divi Divi trees,
Which grow like shrubs atop curvy textured tree trunks,
Look like they belong in a mythical world.
Beneath their lush green canopies are two hammocks made of mesh rope that are angled in a way for the two of you to lie down comfortably beneath a starry night sky and sway in the Aruban trade winds.
And so you both take this time to comfortably position yourselves in each hammock,
Allowing the mesh to wrap around you in a safe hug,
Rocking back and forth.
Your eyes lock again and you smile,
So happy to be sharing this paradise together,
So content to be here right now.
Cooled by the gentle breeze as you get cozy and outstretch your arms so you may hold hands as you continue to sway to and fro and back and forth.
Your fingers intertwined as you give each other a little squeeze and smile.
Looking upon the stars overhead,
You both take note as a star shoots across the sky.
Your loving partner encourages you to make one wish.
When you wish that this feeling of love and companionship may be felt and conjured whenever you so desire,
Holding it under a lock and key in your heart so that you may carry this lifelong reminder,
Safely kept within your sternum,
Just for you.
Enjoying the tropical breeze as you feel so very sleepy and relaxed.
Your breath as easy as the night winds,
Rustling the leaves overhead as your eyes become tired.
Looking to your partner as you lock eyes once again,
Feeling the safety in knowing the days ahead may bring more moments for you both to connect with eye contact.
As your eyelids heavily fall upon your tired eyes,
Your hands still extended and fingers entwined as you rock gently in the comfortable cocoon of the hammock.
The smells of coconut and jasmine sweeten the air as the melodic sounds of tree frogs carry on the breeze.
And you are relaxed.
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are inspired.
You are safe to fall into a gentle slumber.
A lucid dream where you may take an exploratory sensory adventure,
Drifting between the beauty of this shared experience with someone who loves you deeply.
For all that you are,
For all that you may become,
For all that you have shared and will someday share together with a bond that goes far beyond the material world.
