Welcome to the deep,
Relaxing breath meditation.
I invite you to get comfortable wherever you are,
Either sitting or laying down.
And let's begin by taking some slow,
Deep breaths to balance and relax the nervous system.
Just let yourself breathe slowly.
Breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Focus on breathing a long,
Extra long,
Slow out breath,
Pushing the air all the way out,
All the way out,
Nice and slow.
And then breathing in again,
Out,
Letting go with each out breath,
Long and slow,
As if your whole being is softening and relaxing,
Coming into that nice,
Restful,
Rest and relax nervous system response.
I invite you to open your eyes and just gaze at your peripheral vision,
Not looking at anything in particular,
Just a soft gaze,
A kind of unfocused,
Relaxed,
Soft gaze as you breathe slowly and gently.
And just allow the breath to soften gently and elongate,
Slow and relaxed.
All is well.
All is good.
You can close your eyes if you like.
We can keep them open with a soft gaze.
And let's just enjoy really slowing down the breath.
As you breathe out,
You're releasing any tension out of your whole body.
Noticing your shoulders relax,
Your jaw is relaxing.
You can focus on the top of your head,
Just letting it relax.
Noticing your eyes,
Your forehead,
Again,
Noticing your jaw,
Your mouth.
And as you breathe out,
Just relax and let it all go.
Totally relax.
Ah,
Slow,
Gentle,
Deep breaths.
Noticing your neck,
Allowing the tension in the neck just to drain away as you relax.
Allowing your shoulders to feel that relaxing feeling that's draining all the way down your neck,
That feeling of calm flowing from your head all the way down your shoulders,
Softening.
And as you breathe out,
Just completely let it go.
Releasing any tension in your arms,
Releasing any tension in your hands.
Your fingers are nice and relaxed.
And each breath is taking you deeper and deeper into that beautiful space of natural calm and where you're safe and secure.
As you breathe out,
Just letting that relaxation blow down your chest,
Just notice your chest.
Your spine becomes more and more relaxed,
Just noticing it.
Relaxing your whole spine,
That beautiful feeling flowing through your chest,
Your belly,
Flowing through your digestive system,
Solar plexus,
Wave of relaxation flowing all the way down to your hips,
To all the organs.
Letting go and relaxing.
Beautiful,
Slow,
Deep,
Out breath.
Noticing your legs,
Allowing yourself to relax all the way down the legs and calves.
Feeling gravity,
Feeling the weight of the body,
And allowing yourself to melt and soften as that wave of calmness flows through your body.
Flows through your whole being as you let go all the way down your legs,
Into your feet,
Noticing your feet,
Noticing your toes.
And as you notice each area of your body,
You're giving your nervous system a massage.
Feeling your toes,
And just move it up through your legs,
Pelvis,
Through your digestive system,
Up your spine.
Notice your arms and fingers,
Your hands,
Just noticing your neck,
Your jaw,
Your face,
Your eyes,
Your brain,
The tip of your head.
Just become aware and breathe.
You have this wonderful body,
And you're breathing slowly,
Letting the whole thing relax and soften,
Deepen,
Melt into peace and calm.
As that wave of calmness floats from the top of your head all the way down your face,
And then your shoulders,
Down your back,
Your chest,
All the way down to your legs,
And all the way through,
Down into your feet.
Wave of infinite peace and calm,
Where you're safe,
Safe,
Content,
And just breathing softly and gently,
Slow,
Beautiful,
Gentle breaths.
And as you do,
Just breathing in gently,
As you let go,
Relaxing and deepening,
And remembering the main thing,
That you are an eternal,
Spiritual being,
A beautiful light and peace.
You will live forever,
Forever,
And you can connect to the source of all love and peace,
Like a shining star from beyond,
That fills you with everything you need,
And you are safe and secure.
Just imagine above you infinite light and love,
Like a spiritual sun shining beautiful healing energy down into your heart and soul right now.
As you breathe in,
You draw that beautiful light into you,
Filling up,
Hold it for just a moment,
And as you breathe out,
Just let that beautiful,
Pure,
Spiritual energy flow through your whole being,
And out into the world around you.
Taking a few moments just to fill up as you breathe in,
And then shine that light and peace and love all around you through your whole body.
Again,
Just breathing in that beautiful light,
And letting it shine and flow,
Softening and melting,
Noticing as you feel more and more relaxed,
Taking your time to go deeper into that beautiful feeling,
And then letting it flow,
Letting it flow all through your being and out into the world,
Into your space,
All around you,
Feeling divinely held and protected with each breath.
