Welcome to the gratitude meditation.
Sometimes in life we can get caught up in the things that are not working out and forget about all the wonderful things,
The good things,
The blessings in our lives.
In this meditation we are going to come back to the vibration of gratitude,
That loving gratitude that dwells deep within each of us.
And all that heartfelt gratitude and appreciation will bring us back to our centre in peace and fullness.
So to begin let's just start with the gratitude breath.
Breathing in and out,
Taking beautiful deep,
Deep breaths.
And as we breathe let's just have that gratitude for being alive.
You are alive.
And as you breathe just give thanks for life,
For your opportunity to express and enjoy and be here and experience all the potential that life has for you.
So just breathing deeply and gently,
Just giving thanks for the breath.
Each breath keeps you alive.
Physically your body depends upon the breath.
So each breath is offering nourishment.
So breathing deep breaths.
Breathing all the way in and all the way out.
Taking the deepest breath you have taken all year and really enjoy that breath.
And now as you breathe in just say thank you,
Just say thank you for the breath as you breathe in.
And then as you exhale just letting go of any stress,
Any worries,
Just let it go.
Just focusing on the thank you and the gratitude as you breathe in.
You might notice a little smile coming on your face,
A little lightness and a sense of relief and peace and relaxation as you breathe out and let it all go.
So just saying thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you from the heart.
And letting go,
Letting go.
And when you're ready start bringing into your awareness,
Into your mind and heart all the things that you are grateful for in your life.
The opportunities,
The people,
The situations,
The blessings.
Just allow yourself to fill your mind and heart with gratitude and think of how many things you are grateful for.
And if you want you can even write this down or just bring it into your mind.
Either way,
Clearly experience and remember and feel that gratitude for each thing.
And with each thing that comes to mind,
Breathe in that gratitude.
Just breathe that in and as you breathe out say thank you and feel the thank you,
Feel the gratitude going through your whole body,
Washing your whole body,
Clearing your whole body,
Shining through your whole being and out into the world.
Breathing in that appreciation and just saying thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you and just shining that all the way out everywhere.
Feeling yourself feeling lighter,
Feeling happier,
Feeling that gratitude filling you up like nourishment.
So just holding in mind something you're grateful for,
Breathing that in and saying thank you from the heart and shining that all around you feeling lighter and lighter,
Happier and more free with each time you do this,
With each breath.
Feeling how profoundly blessed you are.
We expect nothing so everything is a gift,
Everything is a bonus,
Everything is a blessing.
So really feeling that one thing at a time,
Stay with it as long as you like.
Just giving thanks,
Giving thanks,
Giving thanks.
And with each gratitude feeling you have,
You're sending out good vibrations all through your body and out into the world,
Making your life richer,
Making the world brighter.
And notice as the gratitude gets brighter and stronger and bigger,
All the pain and sorrows of life get smaller and smaller and fade as the gratitude fills your whole being.
And with each gratitude feeling you have,
You're sending out good vibrations all through your body and out into the world,
Making your life richer,
Making the world brighter.
And you can keep smiling and keep feeling that gratitude.
Just have the attitude of gratitude that the world owes us nothing.
And when we have that attitude that the world owes us nothing,
Then all the blessings in our life,
All the little things in our life are a profound blessing,
Beautiful gift,
A bonus.
When people are nice to us,
Smile at us when things go our way,
It's a huge blessing,
The little things,
The little things that we take for granted.
We're so blessed in so many ways and we can make our life even more blessed as we have more gratitude,
More appreciation,
Because what we focus on becomes bigger and brighter and more powerful.
And so by focusing on your gratitude,
Your heart expands,
Your joy expands,
And your opportunities expand.
So keep focusing on your gratitude.
Each day for the next 40 days,
You can come back to this meditation,
Feeling that gratitude,
Remembering the gratitude,
Breathing it in and giving thanks,
Giving thanks,
Giving thanks from the heart and shining that out into the world.
