Day 10 (of 30). Today is about temptation. It’s about being able to feel that urge and that desire and before you act on it - to question if it aligns with your bigger goal? Because let’s be honest, temptation is everywhere! ...and I mean everywhere. Our culture practically prides itself on the amount of choices and options we have. Giving in to the temptation will only feel good in the moment, there is no lasting effect of it. Stay the course and make smart choice - you got this.

So today is about temptation.

I looked up the definition and it says,

A strong urge or desire to have or do something.

Yes,

This is exactly what today and this whole 30 days and actually life is all about,

Right?

It's about being able to feel that urge and that desire and before you act on it to question if it aligns with your bigger goal.

Because let's be honest,

Temptation is everywhere.

And I mean,

Everywhere.

Our culture practically prides itself on the amount of choices and options we have.

And it's also like when you are doing something like this,

Temptation magnifies itself all around you.

Mostly because where your energy goes,

Your life flows.

This is the power of thought in action.

Okay,

So the key here is to focus on what you can have and what you are doing and not what you're missing out on.

If you focus on the latter,

You're in a lack mentality and that will only create more lack and it will keep magnifying the temptation until you break.

This is why people don't make lasting change.

You have to come to a point where you are more excited about what you are creating and building than what you're missing out on.

So this is the thing,

Saying no to something is always saying yes to something else.

And in this case,

It's you.

Choose you,

Choose your mission,

Choose how you wanna feel,

Choose commitment,

Choose discipline and choose abundance.

Because each day is linked together by one decision after another.

And each time you don't give in to temptation,

You are strengthening your ability to trust yourself.

Giving in to the temptation will only feel good in the moment.

There is no lasting effect to it.

This is what addiction is,

Which will only throw you into a cycle of feeling bad about yourself and possibly back into soothing yourself with momentary satisfaction,

Rather than developing long-term conscious decision-making skills.

I have been there.

I suffered from an addictive mind for many years and there are still challenging moments and days where I have to look temptation in the face and having to make the exact same choice.

So stay strong and keep your thoughts and actions aligned with your bigger goal.

Saying no can feel really good,

Try it.
