Welcome.
Om Bites.
Today's meditation is going to focus on this idea of planting seeds.
Planting seeds in particular to start growing and reaching toward your stretch goals.
The beauty of meditation is that it's a time to sit very still in non-doing.
Letting these goals expand to become a reality without any exertion,
Execution or effort at the moment.
So we're simply planting seeds for divine providence to take over,
Inspiration to fuel our way and channel that driven energy forward.
Come to your comfortable seat.
Press down through your base and lift your heart high.
Take a big belly breath in and a long and easeful breath out.
If you feel safe,
You're welcome to close your eyes or cast your gaze downward.
We'll begin with the sound of the symbol and conclude the same way.
Planting seeds,
Envisioning a stretch goal.
Notice what happens to your physical body.
When you think of all the work that might have to go in to reaching a stretch goal,
All the compromises that might need to be made,
All the sacrifices that may be suffered,
But let's not stop it.
Let's reach anyway because when we do we're fulfilling that inner calling which in the end takes more effort to suppress than to allow this flower to push through the crack in the concrete,
Receiving light,
Expand its petals and to grow and bloom.
That is you.
You will be supported.
So dare,
Dare to plant seeds,
Visualize something bigger than you had ever imagined before and don't stop there.
But now do nothing.
Allow your body to breathe in,
Receive into yourselves this reality.
These are your own private stretch goals.
You will be amazed how it begins to enter into your life to serve and support these goals.
These goals may be ego based,
But when they come from deep down in your heart,
They are nothing but right.
Take your time to be in the freedom of your imagination.
Like a child creating,
Exploring outside the lines,
Free of any bank account limitations,
Free of any resource limitations.
The only limit is your imagination,
So go for it.
Notice what resistance might be coming up for you.
Physical,
Mental,
Emotional.
Acknowledge and release.
And when you're finished with this meditation,
You're going to go on with your same old daily grind.
But because of this new found awareness and bringing into your sights,
This visual goal,
You will start to notice in your universe the signs and presence of the tools and resources available to fulfill your goal.
Just watch with open eyes.
But for now,
Do nothing.
For now,
Let all the negative voices chirp and chirp and chirp until they fizzle out.
Displaced by the strong vision of your stretch goal being realized.
Crossing the finish line.
Chest outstretched.
Face held high.
Arms opening wide to embrace your achievements.
Press down through your base.
Lift your heart high.
Take a big belly breath in and an easeful,
Encouraging breath out.
And be in your body,
In your cells.
They have all just realized this goal.
It has come true.
Take one more big breath in,
Affirming this reality.
And a long and easeful breath out.
