In this Dharma talk and Q&A, we explore how spiritual practices help ease suffering by dissolving the sense of “me” or ego. Often, though, we become confused and believe our spiritual practices are improving the ego, when in fact they are helping us see through it. Through mindfulness and self-inquiry, we begin to recognize that freedom doesn’t come from becoming someone better — but from seeing the thought-created “me” we’ve been trying to fix all along. This recording is from a Live Event.
