An original poem by Heidi Fischer explores the idea of the age-old question "If I could do it all again..." (would I do things differently)? Likewise, if I could, would I be the person that I am today? Set to ethereal background music with chimes indicating the opening and closing of this recording. Background music by Amurich.

If I could do it all again,

A question for the ages.

Do I value what it rearranges?

Margin notes,

Lost pages of the self.

And I think I know the answer,

But I guess it doesn't matter.

Time flows in one direction.

So my nervous system has a moderate obsession with the past.

Silent solo symphony.

Simple streamlined song.

Singing sharp note harmonies.

Ensemble of one.

And I think I know the answer,

But I guess it doesn't matter.

Time flows in one direction.

Forward composition of myself.

Mmmmmmm, mmmmmmmm. Pondering to be done, which is good and fun. Composite, a composite, composed? Composer? I chose Mozart, Van Gogh and Spock. Prosper, long, live. Thanks. Rob.
