I'm doing the best that I can with the knowledge and resources available to me.

No one is perfect,

Including me.

Small mistakes are a natural part of life.

Even big ones help me to learn and grow.

I am no better and no worse than the average person.

I can forgive myself for the things I did not know.

Everyone's life looks different.

My worth is not based on what I have compared to my peers.

I am walking my own path and only I truly know what that means.

I do not need to compare myself to others.

I have good qualities.

I am worth getting to know.

I have created connections in the past and I can do it again in the future.

There are safe people in the world.

Not everyone is dangerous.

I can call on others to protect me if the need should arise.

I am not a loser.

I am not unlovable.

I am not hopeless.

I am not the things I was led to believe about myself.

I reject my inner critic and firmly say,

No,

Stop.

Not today.

I will walk a different path.

I reject those voices that wrongly cause me to think poorly of myself.

I can be kind to myself when I stray.
