Welcome to this meditation on forgiveness and letting go.
Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable position either laying down or in a seated position.
You can have your palms facing open and receptive.
Take your time to become present.
Take your time to really feel this moment.
Just come as you are.
There's no need to already be blissful or already be in a meditative state.
You're just simply coming as you are.
Perhaps if you're laying down you might need some relief for the lower back.
So if you do just place a pillow or a couple of yoga blocks underneath your knees.
Go ahead and close your eyes if that feels correct for you in this moment.
You could always do this meditation seated with your eyes open.
Just do what's best for you.
I'd like to read out this beautiful affirmation by Louise Hay.
She has helped me so much in reading her books and feeling her energy.
What a beautiful healing light she is.
I forgive myself.
As I forgive myself I leave behind all feelings of not being good enough and I am free to love myself.
As we move through this meditation in forgiveness and letting go,
Remember that the past is over,
That this is a new day.
A day that you have never lived before.
I stay in this present moment and I honor each moment like the breath coming in and out.
Remember that letting go does not mean that we condone any past pains or trauma or abuse that's happened to us.
We realize that others who have done things like this to us have also been hurt.
They too have had past pains inflicted onto them.
So we're not necessarily forgetting or condoning what's happened to us but we're ultimately looking at letting it go so that we can live in peace because we deserve self-love,
We deserve compassion for ourselves and care.
We don't lose the knowledge that we've gained from the past but we may let go and release the images or some of the emotions,
The grudges and fears.
Maybe there's disappointments there of the past that that bind you.
So we look at letting go of that so that we can be free and in setting ourselves free we also set free the other person.
I let go of all expectations.
I flow freely and lovingly with life.
I love myself and I know that only good awaits me at every turn.
Go ahead and take a deep breath in through your nose and gently let it out through your mouth.
Take another deep breath in through your nose,
Letting it out through your mouth.
Beautiful belly breaths,
Releasing and grounding the body.
One more time,
Deep breath in and letting it out.
As we let go,
We begin to let go of the stories that have a hold on us,
That make our mind busy from time to time,
Where we can have a more open heart to live in the present,
Letting go of the fear so that we can really trust ourselves.
And we we need to have the courage to go inside.
Feel that vulnerability that is within us and realize that true vulnerability is strength after all.
Let's rest kindly now,
Right where we are.
Very gently being with that tender grounding of honesty,
That tender grounding of love and healing that will carry us through our ever changing world.
In this moment,
See if you can,
If you're ready to let go of the struggle.
Perhaps you're going through something today,
Which urged you to find a meditation so that you can go inside.
It is safe to be inside.
I am safe to be inside.
I am love of all dimensions.
And I delight in weaving the creative tapestry,
That is my life.
As we go inside,
We realize that it's not so much that we're searching for our anchor,
But that we're,
We're really remembering who we are.
As we drop down into the depths of our being,
We see that we have the life force,
The breath,
The prana,
That we have everything within us to heal.
And if we're going through something,
Well,
It only ultimately means that we're growing.
Growing is healing.
Anything that is growing is going to experience some unease as we move through these growing pains.
And look at letting go.
Let's imagine a beautiful white golden light around us,
Protecting us.
Can you see yourself immersed in this beautiful healing,
White golden light?
Understand in this moment that it's safe to go inside.
You're protected from all harm.
See yourself in this beautiful white golden bubble of love.
And just imagine your world feeling lighter and not having to carry around the grudges,
Not having to carry around a backpack of resentment,
Not having to carry around that hurt anymore.
And as you see yourself in this white golden bubble of love,
You become lighter.
You become who you've always meant to have been.
You are an incredible being having a human experience.
And whatever's happened to you in the past,
You can look at letting that go.
It is not your fault.
In this moment,
If you're ready to forgive yourself even more and let go of the feeling of struggle,
Perhaps there's still some anger there.
And we certainly don't want to force letting go.
So maybe it's not time just yet.
Maybe we just allow the wound to be open a little bit and just be with it like a friend is holding space for you.
You're just holding space for you to gently be with your wound.
Take a few deep breaths here of courage in through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Maybe for now,
You're just allowing things to be.
Maybe you'll do this meditation a few times before the letting go becomes more natural.
As you lay here,
Or if you're seated,
Can you see yourself wrapped in Mother Nature's love for you?
That you're not separate to her and she's holding you right now.
She's wrapping her arms around you in this space of unconditional love.
You're not alone after all.
And this is the space that we were all born with.
And we can remember it right now.
We can remember this connection,
The heartbeat of the earth.
This is divine space.
As you take a few more deep breaths here into your belly and perhaps even moving it up to your heart,
Can you notice if your body is feeling a little bit more at ease?
Even just a slight shift can be everything.
You may choose to stay here a little longer in the space of quiet as the silence speaks to you.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
And I hope you have a wonderful,
Peaceful day,
Whatever you're up to.
Namaste.
