What a beautiful day it is today.

I am so grateful to have been gifted another day on this beautiful green earth.

When I wake up,

I know no matter what is going on in my life,

That I can start my day with gratitude and joy,

Simply because I woke up.

Another day to give people that I care for the most just a really big hug.

Another day to greet my pets and their cute little furry faces.

Another day to enjoy the simple pleasures in life,

Like listening to the birds singing,

Catching the sunset,

Or just smiling because you saw a really pretty flower.

Because when we focus our attention to the things that bring us joy,

It brings more joy into our lives.

When we first wake up,

It's a great opportunity to prime our brain for what we want to see,

Feel and experience more of throughout the day.

The more frequently we do this,

The more you will see just how truly powerful we are in creating and shaping our reality.

There are so many ways to prime your brain,

And this morning we're going to focus on expressing gratitude,

Setting intentions,

And repeating powerful affirmations.

And so before we begin,

Let's just take a few moments to settle into a comfortable position,

Whatever that may look like for you.

I also invite you to close your eyes and to take a few deep breaths in just to welcome in the new day and allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.

So let us begin by taking deep breaths in through our nose and out through our mouths.

And we're going to do this three times each together.

You can follow along with me or you can breathe in deeply on your own.

Let's take a deep breath in through our nose,

And a deep breath out,

In through our nose,

And out through our mouth.

Last one in through our nose,

And out through our mouth.

So let us begin by focusing on gratitude.

I would like for you to bring to mind something,

Anything,

Anything that you're grateful for in this moment.

It could be the soft summer breeze,

Your nice warm bed,

Or the cup of tea that you enjoy each morning.

I want you to visualize what you're grateful for in as much detail as possible.

If it's that hot cup of tea in the morning,

I want you to visualize the steam coming off the cup and brushing against your nose.

If it's your nice warm bed,

I want you to imagine you just ruffling up in your covers and turning around and really having that nice big smile and remembering how much you love your bed.

I want you to notice and feel the feelings of appreciation and happiness that coming up with what you're grateful for brings to you.

So let us begin.

Bring to mind anything that you're grateful for in this moment.

And we're going to take a few deep breaths as we visualize that.

Now,

I would like for you to bring to mind something else that you are grateful for in this moment.

Again,

We're going to take three deep breaths,

And I want you to visualize what you're grateful for in as much detail as possible,

Allowing the feelings of joy and bliss to truly fill you up.

So let's take a few deep breaths as we think of what we're grateful for.

And because good things come in three,

I want you to think about one more thing you're grateful for in this moment.

And this time,

Allow the feelings of gratitude and love to completely envelop you as your vision becomes clearer and clearer.

Next,

Let's set our intention for the day.

Imagine how you want to feel and the energy that you want to bring with you throughout your experiences today.

I want you to think of an intention and a simple and positive statement,

And I would like for you to repeat it to yourself a few times.

I would like for you to take a moment and just think about what you would like your attention to be for today.

It could be something as simple as,

I would like to focus on gratitude today.

Or it can be something a little bit more specific,

Like,

I would like to stay hydrated in the afternoon because I tend to not drink as much water at that time during the day.

And so I'd like you to pause for a minute and just think about what your intention is for today.

And I would like you to repeat it to yourself a few times as well.

And we can be taking deep breaths during this time.

You can follow along with me,

Or you can be breathing deeply on your own.

Lastly,

I would like for us to repeat some powerful affirmations that will remind ourselves throughout the day that we are in control of our thoughts,

And in turn,

Our reality.

Our beliefs and perceptions help to shape the way that we experience the world around us.

The more we challenge the limiting beliefs we hold in our minds,

The more the world around us begins to change to reflect those new beliefs and ideals we hold.

Our inner world creates our outer world.

And so I will repeat each affirmation twice as we move forward,

And I will invite you to repeat them along with me the second time,

Either in your head or out loud,

As this tends to welcome the affirmation into your subconscious mind.

With that,

Let us begin.

My thoughts create my reality.

My thoughts create my reality.

I am in control of my thoughts.

I am in control of my thoughts.

Today I choose to focus on the positive aspects of my life.

Today I choose to focus on the positive aspects of my life.

I embrace my innate power to rewrite the narrative of my life.

I embrace my innate power to rewrite the narrative of my life.

And as we come to the end of this meditation,

I would like for you to just take a few deep breaths and slowly start to wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers,

Start to reconnect with your physical body.

Maybe move your neck around,

Roll your shoulders,

Twist out your back.

And whenever you feel ready,

Gently open up your eyes.

And when you do,

Carry along with you the inspiration and the positive energy that we harness today from this meditation.

And allow yourself to start your day with beauty,

With grace,

With joy,

With gratitude,

With love,

With intention,

With direction,

With inspiration.

And I just want you to remember that every day and every moment,

You have the power to create an amazing day filled with gratitude,

Intention,

Inspiration,

And love.

So go out there and have the best day ever.
