Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number 10.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus for today's meditation is on managing menopausal symptoms.

Menopause can be a challenging time for many women,

Both physically and emotionally.

However,

With the practice of meditation,

You can learn to manage your symptoms and find peace and calmness during this transitional phase.

Continue to focus on your breathing.

And with each exhale,

Release any tension or stress you may be holding in your body.

Open your mouth slightly to allow your jaw to relax.

Let your tongue fall from the roof of your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

Relax your hands,

Your stomach,

And your feet.

I want you to bring your attention to any symptoms you may be experiencing right now,

Such as hot flashes,

Mood swings,

Insomnia.

Notice any discomfort or unpleasant sensations in your body.

Instead of resisting or trying to push these sensations away,

Allow them to be present and observe them with curiosity and non-judgment.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine a warm,

Gentle light surrounding you,

Bringing a sense of peace and calmness to your mind and body.

Focus on your breath and the present moment,

Letting go of any worries about the future or regrets about the past.

Embrace the present moment and the sensations in your body,

Knowing that they are a natural part of the menopausal process and in time the symptoms will subside.

And remember,

Regularly practicing meditation will help you to manage your symptoms and find inner balance and harmony.

And now,

In your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me,

Out loud.

I embrace the natural process of aging and trust that my body knows how to navigate menopause.

I am grateful for the wisdom and experience that comes with aging and menopause.

I am deserving of love,

Respect,

And care,

Regardless of my age or physical changes.

I am proud of my journey and the challenges I have overcome to reach this point in my life.

I am confident in my ability to handle the changes that come with menopause and adapt to new ways of being.

I choose to focus on the positive aspects of aging and menopause,

Such as the freedom to live my life on my own terms.

I am surrounded by love and support from my family and friends,

Who accept me for who I am,

Regardless of my age.

I am open to new experiences and opportunities that come with this stage of life,

And I embrace the growth and transformation that they bring.

I honor and respect my body,

And I take good care of myself through exercise,

Nutrition,

And self-care.

I trust that my journey through menopause is unique and beautiful,

And I am grateful for the peace and clarity that it brings.

When you are ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.

Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
