Hi and welcome.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
My name is Melissa Sabino.
I'm an intuitive,
Healer,
Teacher,
And wellness guide.
We often find that the harder we try to get rid of emotions and thoughts,
The stronger they become.
It is so true and so very uncomfortable that what we resist persists.
Today in meditation,
We'll extend an invitation to get to know one of the many parts that make up who we are.
I'll invite you to turn towards what you're observing and begin a new relationship with each part of yourself.
In PARTS work,
We treat each part of ourselves as a sacred being with a true purpose.
This allows us to more fully embody our true self and experience deep levels of healing.
So whenever you're ready,
I'm inviting you to get comfortable.
Maybe give yourself a few shoulder rolls,
Allowing some gentle stretching in your body,
Or maybe a not-so-gentle shake.
Really get that energy moving.
I'm inviting you to close your eyes.
Let your shoulders drop and your heart open,
Letting your breath become easy and full.
Imagine that you can effortlessly lift yourself up as you're reading yourself down.
Bring your awareness to your heart.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Coming more fully into your body.
You are here.
You are present.
You are safe.
Bringing your attention to the bottoms of your feet and imagining yourself growing roots from the soles of your feet deeply into the earth and at the base of your spine,
Allowing a tree trunk to ground you all the way into the earth.
Focus on your breath as you connect more deeply within and continue to ground your energy.
Let's tune into our bodies,
Tune into what we're experiencing in this present moment.
How are you feeling?
What are you feeling?
Are there some repetitive thoughts being served up by the monkey mind?
Are there any energies behind these feelings or these thoughts?
You tune into that.
Maybe it's worry,
Stress.
Maybe it's not enough,
Invalidation,
No judgment.
Just ask and observe.
Get curious.
As you tune in,
You might notice that you're coming up to your mind.
You might get lost in thought.
If you do that,
Inviting you to come back into your body,
Let your body guide you.
Let those answers come from deep within you.
Are you holding any tension in your body?
Do you feel any pain?
Where are you experiencing this in your body?
Breathing into this space.
And with that gentle curiosity,
Ask this space of holding in your body how it's doing.
Is there anything it wants you to know?
Does it need anything?
I want to share my experience of parts work as I think it'll help you if you haven't done this practice before.
And if you have,
It might help you to tune into it a little bit more deeply.
So as I share,
Please continue to breathe.
Continue to connect with your body and notice with that gentle curiosity what's coming up for you.
So for me,
My right shoulder tends to hold a lot of pain and tension.
This is coming on for many,
Many years.
It's had a lot to say and I rarely if ever listened.
As I began parts work,
I got really curious.
I realized that this pain was primarily unexpressed and unacknowledged fear.
My right shoulder is also a place of holding in my body that lets me know when I'm stuck in doing mode,
Pushing way too hard and not being present.
This is a part of me.
There is another part of me that I love.
She is empowered,
Free,
And knows that anything is possible.
She's helped me take some big aligned steps over the last several years.
I fully embrace,
See,
And love this part of myself now.
I know it to be a very important part of my true self.
But I ignored her for many years by making myself small,
Dimming my light,
And editing myself to make others comfortable all at my expense.
My empowered self is sometimes resistant to acknowledge fear.
I would tell myself that the fear isn't real.
I would refuse to let it hold me back and I would plot ahead.
This left a part of me feeling very invalidated.
Because of this frightened part of me,
The fear is very real.
And because I was not giving space to this part of me,
It was suppressed in my body,
Which caused a lot of pain and tension.
So I finally held space for the fear.
I really sat with it.
I let myself feel.
It was really uncomfortable.
I let it tell me what it needed to tell me.
I realized it was trying to protect me.
It wanted to make sure I would be okay.
It had pure,
Loving intentions.
Once I received the message it was needing to share,
I sent love to that part of myself.
I let it know that I am and will always be safe and that my security is not dependent on any outer circumstance or person.
I felt a huge shift in seeing and loving this part of me.
Energy moved through my body and love and validation surged through my right shoulder.
I instantly felt more present,
More loving,
More embodied.
When I feel pain and tension there now,
I know to listen.
I know there is a part of me that has a message and needs my attention and love.
So today in meditation,
Inviting you to do the same.
Is there a part of you asking for your attention?
Where is it in your body?
What is its message?
What is this part of you need?
Connecting to your breath.
Long,
Deep breathing.
Inviting you to sit with this.
Coming back to that gentle curiosity.
Breathe into this.
Be present with whatever is here for you.
Continue to tune into your body.
Inviting you to connect with your heart space.
Can you get a sense of what it feels like for you to be connected to your true self?
To be more embodied?
Connecting to your wholeness.
Giving yourself a few more deep breaths before we come out of meditation today.
Allowing your energy to move.
Allowing any areas of pain and tension to soften.
Allowing your love to heal these spaces.
So grateful that you joined me in this space today.
Give yourself so much love and gratitude for doing this beautiful work.
Inviting you to slowly come back to the space that you're in.
Allowing your body to move and stretch.
And gently opening up your eyes when you're ready.
Unconditionally loving all of ourselves is a journey.
It means more fully embodying who we truly are more and more every day.
It's a process of allowing more of our love,
Light,
And joy to come into our bodies.
Giving ourselves permission to be exactly as we are.
Deep listening to all parts of ourselves.
Honoring all of it.
Our light and our darkness.
It is all important.
It all has purpose.
The perfect imperfection of being human.
All of you.
All of life is sacred.
