Hello,
Welcome to your spring equinox meditation.
To begin,
Just get yourself comfortable.
You can either be seated or lying down,
Whatever is resonating with you in this moment,
Just so that you can settle in.
Begin to drop your awareness into yourself and begin to breathe slow,
Deep breaths in through your nose.
Just notice the sensations of your breath coming in and going out.
And as you settle into your space,
Notice any sensations that you might be feeling in your body.
Invite your body to soften when you notice where you're holding on to some tension.
Can you soften,
Relax a little further with each exhale,
Just letting go.
Maybe you want to close your eyes or drop your gaze so that you can drop further into yourself,
Grounding a little more here.
This meditation is a practice of celebrating and honoring all this new season has to offer.
Spring has arrived.
Each new season brings its own energy and spring tends to be the time of the year for newness.
What does this time of the year represent to you?
Consider what you are welcoming in as you enter this new season.
Spring is a creation energy.
Spring welcomes new beginnings and symbols of rebirth.
Spring is nature's way of saying,
Let's celebrate.
The flowers will start to bloom.
Birds will begin to build nests.
Leaves will begin to form their shape.
Trees and plants begin a new cycle of growth.
Butterflies emerge from their cocoons.
Birds remember their songs and begin to sing more loudly.
Colors become more brighter and more vibrant.
Spring will bring warmer weather and longer days.
March 20th in the northern hemisphere marks the first day of spring.
On this day,
The sun is exactly between the winter and summer solstice.
On this day,
There is a balance between day and night as both are equally the same length.
We call this day the spring equinox.
There is no denying that spring is a powerful and important time.
It's a time when things come alive.
On this day,
We enter the start of a new astrological year.
We get ready to embrace our new beginnings.
Spring is the time to plant seeds.
What you plant is what will grow.
If you plant apple seeds,
You cannot expect oranges to grow.
And the same goes for intentions and mindset.
It's hard to grow a life of positivity and abundance when you are always planting seeds of negativity.
If you focus on negative thoughts,
You can expect to attract negative people and situations into your life.
So go into this season shining your light.
Smile at strangers and watch the happiness radiate back to you.
Celebrate the freshness of your life.
Believe in your ability to manifest change.
Believe in your ability to create balance and harmony in your life.
Do a cleanse of your home and purge anything that makes you feel off balance.
I invite you to do something symbolic to honor your life.
Perhaps light a candle and say a blessing.
Give thanks and appreciation for the life force energy in your body,
Your breath.
I challenge you to go outside in the same place at the same time or as close as possible for 10 to 15 minutes each day for the next month or two.
And just watch and notice spring emerge as it comes alive around you.
Take in the sounds,
The smells,
And notice the subtle small shifts day by day.
Celebrate the season with some movement.
Dig in the dirt,
Paint a clay pot,
And plant a flower in it.
Find a simple yet creative way to honor spring and your life.
Get silent.
Give room to your inner wisdom and internal guidance.
Listen more.
Intend to experience more joy by doing more things that feel joyful.
As we bring this meditation to a close,
I invite you to open your eyes and welcome in a little bit of movement.
Prepare your body to emerge from your cocoon.
Emerge with wonder,
Curiosity,
And excitement.
Emerge with the warmth in your heart to spread and plant seeds of kindness everywhere you go today.
Happy Spring Equinox!
Cheers to warmer,
Brighter days ahead.
Have a wonderful day.
