The way we speak to ourselves has a huge impact on how we feel about ourselves. Speaking daily affirmations has been proven to boost self-confidence. This quick drop-in can be practiced in front of a mirror, when you wake up, on your way to work, or anytime you need a pick-me-up.

Hello,

My name is Melissa and I'm going to be your guide for this short affirmation practice.

If you'd like to deepen your connection with yourself,

You can try this practice sitting in front of a mirror,

And if not,

That's okay too.

Just take a comfortable seat,

Settle in,

Notice your breath,

Breathing in and out through your nose,

Softly and gently,

Bringing some awareness into your body,

Your emotional state,

Your physical state,

Just noticing how you feel right now.

We're gonna say a couple affirmations that will hopefully boost your confidence.

You can either repeat these out loud or say them to yourself in your mind.

If you're ready,

We'll begin.

I welcome myself as I am.

I belong in this world.

I see myself and I appreciate myself.

I love me.

I am full of love and positivity.

I am beautiful.

I am brave.

I've come a long way.

I can do anything I choose to do.

When I look at myself,

I see courage.

When I look at myself,

I am excited for my future.

If you're looking for that one person to change your life,

Change your outlook,

Change the way things are,

Then I invite you to look in the mirror every morning,

Say hello to yourself,

I'm going to have a great day,

And don't let anybody steal your happiness or joy.

I hope you have the most wonderful day.
