It's natural to experience a disconnection from your Intuition or Spiritual Self following loss. After enduring my third miscarriage, I found myself feeling emotions of anger towards God. As a result, I abandoned my regular yoga and meditation practices, convinced that my dedication to Spirit had failed me. My faith had faltered. Yet, amidst my struggle, Spirit remained steadfast, patiently awaiting my return. Gradually, I began the journey of reconnecting with my High Self and accessing my Inner Wisdom, and it all started with a meditation much like this. Over time my relationship with God transformed into something much deeper and stronger than ever before. In this guided meditation, I will help you rediscover your connection to a higher power and gently release emotional and physical pain residing within your body. Together, we'll embrace the transformative power of reuniting with your Higher Self.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position or go ahead and lie down anywhere that you feel comfortable and relax the eyes,

Relax the jawbone and clench the teeth.

Allow a softness to float from the crown of your head,

Over the forehead,

Over the ears,

Down the neck.

Take a swallow,

Like a big gulp,

And let the throat soften.

Sometimes we tend to clench the throat,

So allow that to find some ease and let that softness just float down over the shoulders,

Over the chest,

The back,

The spine,

All the muscles of the back until it reaches the low back,

The hips,

Down the legs,

All the way to the toes.

Letting it float back up into the pelvis.

Let the belly soften,

Let the reproductive organs rest,

Relax,

Rejuvenate.

Let the softness float up into the organs of the belly,

The digestive system,

Into the diaphragm,

The lungs,

And finally reaching the heart.

Let your heart open up,

Let it too.

Find an element of ease,

An element of softness that floats throughout it,

Helping the heart expand,

Melt a little bit into a state of peacefulness and serenity,

A place where it feels safe,

Held,

Connected.

Let the softness float back up through the neck and all the way into the mind,

Into the brain.

Our mind can be so rigid sometimes and we can feel so frazzled and afraid and our neurons just fire off randomly and we don't feel like we have a lot of control of our thoughts and never mind.

We'll allow the edges to soften on all of your thoughts right now,

Allow a sense of just being in turn to your mind and being okay with that sense of just being,

Not attaching to the thoughts as they flow in and out and bounce around.

Just let them be soft,

Like the softness of a cloud floating by,

Let your thoughts be like clouds,

You see one,

It changes and then it moves along.

Without the need for you to analyze it,

Without the need for you to pick it apart or even feel anything regarding it,

There's words,

Neat,

That's adding that element of softness.

Now let's bring our awareness to our breath,

Take a big inhale,

As you inhale I want you to imagine breathing down from the clouds,

Down from the heavens,

Down from God's source,

The universe,

Down through the crown of your head,

Pulling whatever energy that you believe in to be helpful and to be connected to something higher and more divine and that has the ability to offer up something bigger than you can necessarily tap into in this moment.

So we're going to get some help from above,

We're going to ask to pull that help in through our breath,

So I kind of want you to visualize like what you need assistance being delivered from above the crown of your head,

Maybe it's way above,

Maybe it's like way off in outer space and beyond the big universe and you're pulling from that,

Maybe it's directly above your head.

We're going to breathe in,

Kind of like maybe a tunnel of wind or a tunnel of sparkling energy,

Whatever your mind's eye comes up with,

Your imagination,

It's very personal and there's no right or wrong way to do this.

Breathe that in,

Down through the crown of the head,

Into our mind,

Into our brain,

Let breath,

Pull the breath in further down over the eyes,

Into the heart and let the breath expand the heart and feel the physical expansion of your lungs,

Of your diaphragm,

Of your chest that houses your heart with the breath.

Let that physical expansion,

That rise and fall of your breath,

Let that rise and fall of your breath,

Let that rise and fall of your breath translate to an emotional expansion.

You're expanding your heart,

You're able to take more in,

Offer more out and with every exhale,

We allow our body to move deeper into softness.

Take a big full exhale and as you inhale,

Pull the breath deeper down,

Deep,

Deep,

Deep into the diaphragm that's under the ribs,

Some muscle under the rims,

The diaphragm also expands and opens.

Sometimes we feel a tightness,

Like a locked up sensation when we're in pain,

When we're in grief.

I personally feel it under my ribs,

In my diaphragm.

Where do you feel it?

Send the breath there and with your exhale,

You soften the diaphragm.

Next breath,

Pull it in even more deeply down into the belly,

Behind the belly button,

Feel the tummy expand and relax.

Knowing that with every inhale,

You're pulling from that divine spirit,

That all-knowing that has answers beyond what we can see right now.

You're pulling that information in,

Connecting with that knowing,

With that truth that goes beyond our need to analyze and try and figure out and come up with the whys.

Why is this happening?

Why did this happen?

We're pulling in trust.

We're pulling in the bigger picture,

That connection to all of time,

Past,

Present,

And future that maybe we don't know about.

Maybe we don't know where or why we're on this journey.

But with our breath,

As we inhale,

We're asking to be a part of that knowing and to be guided.

We're pulling in that faith.

Now I want you to pull in your breath your next inhale all the way down,

Down into your sacred womb space.

And let your breath settle in there,

That divine breath that you've connected with from above.

Maybe this breath has a quality,

A visual quality about it.

Let's add a visual quality of maybe a little bit of shimmering.

If you haven't added a quality yet,

Maybe a little bit of iridescence.

What color is this breath?

Allow that breath to float and swirl throughout throughout the entire reproductive organs of your divine self.

This is a holy space,

A sacred space.

It's already connected with the most spiritual aspect of ourselves and with our universe.

But sometimes that connection can feel lost,

Non-existent,

Severed.

And so we're using our breath,

Using our inhale to tether that connection,

To reestablish it.

To reestablish it.

We're using our exhale to soften into it,

To let it be,

To just allow it to step out of the way.

And allow this area,

This beautiful area of our body,

The space to reconnect with its sacred source.

And with you as a sacred being.

In times of pain and grief and in times of darkness,

We forget that we are on a journey and that all parts of the journey are essential.

Even the parts that we wish we didn't have to go through,

That we didn't have to experience,

They are all pieces of a puzzle that are intended to help us become the most connected,

Human version of ourselves,

The most beautiful,

Divine version of ourselves.

Divine version of ourselves.

Our highest self,

It's often referred to,

And that it takes all of the puzzle pieces,

All of what we consider the good,

What we consider the bad,

The pieces that we want to turn away from,

Or that we want to move past.

Those are the pieces that are inviting us to do this work,

The work that you're doing right here,

Right now,

With your breath,

With your connection.

You are tapping into a power that maybe you've never tapped into before,

But has always been there.

You're invited to see aspects of yourself that maybe you've never seen before,

And we might not have the full answers right now,

And that's okay.

Right now,

We're just breathing,

We're just breathing,

We're just connecting,

We're just being.

We're experiencing in the deepest level.

Take a big breath in through the nose,

Big,

Big,

Big,

Big,

Big.

Send it through the body,

All the way through the body,

Through all the cells,

Through all the blood,

Through all the organs.

On your exhale,

Audible sounds come out,

Physical releasing through the breath.

Unlock the energy that all of those beautiful inhales gathered up,

Kind of swept up,

Any energy that's ready to be released.

Let's take a few more breaths like that.

Inhale,

Gather it up,

Sweep it up through our bodies,

Through our hearts,

Through our wounds,

Through our heart.

Through our heart,

Through our wounds,

Through our minds,

Maybe through our low back,

Our spine,

Our hips.

Exhale.

We send it out the mouth,

Back to that God source to be transformed into something else.

Something of service,

We offer it up,

We recycle it.

Inhale,

Big breath,

Inhaling that connection,

Inhaling that spirit.

Exhale.

As we exhale,

We permanently release.

It's no longer ours.

You're sending it back to spirit,

And spirit knows exactly what to do with it.

So worry not.

Take a moment here and just allow yourself to be,

And let your body become heavy.

If tears roll out or if they have been rolling out,

That's fine.

If they haven't,

That's fine.

You're doing this right.

I promise.

And as you breathe,

Remember that your connection to God,

The universe,

Spirit,

Holiness,

Divinity,

Is always with you.

And use your breath whenever you're feeling disconnected.

And that sometimes we're asked to trust in something that we don't fully understand.

But by tuning in,

By breathing in,

Perhaps we can soften into that trust just a little more easily to help us move along on our journey to heal.

Whenever you're ready,

If your eyes are still closed,

Begin to flutter them open and find a little bit of movement in the body.

And allow that movement to float into the arms and into the legs.

Until you're ready to take a full body stretch,

And bring these to chest to wake up a little bit.

There's no need to rush.

And when you're ready,

I would love for you to place your hands on your heart and take one more big breath in.

And take one more big breath in.

And as you breathe in,

Seal that inhale into your heart to keep it expanded,

To keep it connected.

And as you breathe out,

Soften once more.

The light in me sees the light in you.

Namaste.
