Hold your breath for a moment and release as you imagine a soft light surrounding you.

Let's begin by pondering any of our own words or actions that may have caused suffering to someone else.
Contemplate how the other person may feel as you continue to breathe and feel.
Recognize the pain this person may feel while you ask for forgiveness for any hurts you may have caused,
Known or unknown.
Allow yourself to be vulnerable and accept any sorrow you feel for causing any suffering.
Now think about if you have forgiven yourself for betraying or abandoning yourself due to fear,
Hurt or confusion or not listening to your own needs and feelings.
Place your hand on your heart and hold yourself in a warm embrace to receive your own forgiveness.
Breathe deeply.
Now consider any hurt,
Either physical or emotional,
By others.
Are you holding resentment or fear?
Have you created a wall between you and this person?
What are your beliefs about their actions?
Breathe.
Feeling your hand upon your heart and acknowledge the part of you that is distressed and holding onto the fear,
Anger,
Shame or discomfort.
Breathe in the caring light of the universe around you.
Allow yourself to embrace and love the part of you that has been harmed.
Accept your kindness and caring,
Which allows you to see beyond the surface of the other person and recognize their own pain that may have contributed to their behavior.
Hold an intention to forgive as much as you are able now for all the suffering caused and forgive the other person or persons.
Allow yourself to release whatever you are able to when holding onto this hurt.
Because you are safe.
You are human and recognize that you are filled with the light of love.
Love is the most powerful healing force in the universe.
Allow a sense of calm and relief to fill you.
You have the ability to move forward.
You are liberated.
You are free.
You are happy.
