Hello,

It's time for your daily affirmation,

Inspiration,

And mindful journaling prompt.

Today,

We are on Inspiration 339.

I matter.

Your presence in the world is significant,

And you have the power to make a difference in the lives of those around you.

Treat yourself with the same kindness and compassion that you offer to others.

Take time to prioritize your own needs and well-being.

Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

When you recognize your own worth and value,

You are able to show up fully in the world and make a positive impact.

Stay mindful as you move through each day,

Taking time to appreciate the beauty around you and to reflect on your own strengths and accomplishments.

With each moment,

You are building a life that is meaningful and fulfilling.

Your presence in the world is a gift to us all.

There's so many of us,

Especially parents.

And as a mom,

I can totally appreciate this,

Because when you're taking care of your children,

You're prioritizing your needs over theirs,

And the needs of your family over your own.

I know I did that.

That's how I ended up being and staying in an emotionally and mentally abusive marriage for so long,

Because it was so important to me to take care of,

Hold my family together and to take care of my daughter and to take care of everybody else.

Even my ex-husband,

Taking care of his needs and making sure his feelings were taken into consideration.

I told my daughter these things,

That you have to take care of yourself first,

And I wasn't practicing them.

Once,

She called me out on it.

Good for her.

Even if you're not a parent,

We still have a tendency to take care of other people before we take care of ourselves,

Understanding that we matter,

And that in order to have a positive impact in the world,

We need to take care of ourselves first.

If nothing else,

Think of yourself as a model for others.

Think of yourself as someone who is modeling healthy,

Self-love,

Self-compassion,

Self-care for other people,

Because they may need that inspiration from you in order to understand that they matter,

Too.

This isn't being selfish.

This is taking care of yourself.

So your wonderful beauty and talents and skills can just shine out into the world.

Your mindful journaling prompt for today is,

How do I recognize my own value and worth?

Let me know what comes up for you in your journaling in the comments.

I'd love to see it.

Have a lovely day.
