Hello Friends!
The hunter's full moon arrives at a time of transition.
The harvest has been gathered.
The seasons are changing.
And traditionally.
This was a time to prepare for what lay ahead.
A time when focus mattered.
When energy was precious.
And knowing what to pursue made all the difference.
There's something meaningful in that in our own lives.
Because we can spend so much time chasing things.
Answers.
Approval.
Opportunities,
Expectations,
Things we think we should want.
And sometimes we become so busy pursuing them.
What is in front of us?
That we forget to ask whether It actually matters.
Tonight we're going to use the energy of the hunter's full moon to create a little space.
To notice where our energy is going.
And to reconnect with what is genuinely worth pursuing.
Not everything deserves the chase.
And you get to choose.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Allow your eyes to close if that feels good to you.
Take a slow breath in.
And gently let it go.
Again.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Feel the support beneath you.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Relax your jaw.
Let your hands rest gently.
Notice your breathing.
There is no need to change anything.
Just notice.
With each exhale.
Allow yourself to settle in a little more.
There is nothing to accomplish nothing to figure out.
Nowhere else you need to be.
For these next few moments.
You can stop searching.
Stop planning.
Stop pursuing.
Just be here.
You and me.
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful forest.
It is early evening.
The air is cool.
The trees are beginning to change color.
Above the horizon.
The hunter's full moon is rising.
Large.
Golden.
The last light of the day is fading.
And the full moon is beginning to illuminate the landscape.
Ahead of you is a path leading into the forest.
Begin walking onto the path.
Slowly.
Notice the ground beneath your feet.
The gentle movement of the leaves.
The cool evening air.
There is nowhere you need to reach.
Simply.
Follow the path.
As you walk.
Notice how peaceful.
The forest feels.
The world continues around you,
But nothing is asking for your attention.
You don't have to respond.
You don't have to decide.
You don't have to keep up.
Continue walking.
Let the forest become your own.
Notice whatever details appear around you in the forest.
Eventually,
The path opens into a clearing.
The hunter's moon shines brightly overhead.
And in front of you.
Several paths lead in different directions.
Each path represents something that has been asking for your energy.
Perhaps a responsibility.
A goal.
A relationship.
And expectations.
Something you've been trying to prove.
Or something you believe you should be doing.
Take a moment to look at each of the paths.
Notice whether one seems especially familiar.
Perhaps you've been walking on it for a long time.
Ask yourself.
Where has my energy been going?
Notice what comes up.
No judgment.
Just awareness.
Some of these paths may represent things that genuinely matter to you.
Others may have become habits.
Obligations.
Or expectations you never consciously chose.
Look at the paths again.
And ask yourself.
What am I pursuing because I am?
Truly.
Want it.
And now.
What am I pursuing?
Because I think I should.
Let yourself notice the difference.
There's nothing you need to change right now.
Just recognize what feels true.
Between what you want and what you think you should be doing.
Bring your attention to the hunter's full moon.
Its light fills the clearing.
Illuminating all the paths that surround you.
Imagine that moonlight helping you to see more clearly.
Not telling you which path to choose.
Simply allowing you to see what is already there.
Look towards the path that represents something you genuinely care about.
Something meaningful.
Something that deserves your time and attention.
Perhaps it's a relationship you want to nurture.
A dream you haven't given up on.
Your well-being.
Your peace.
A creative pursuit.
Or Simply the kind of life you want to experience.
You don't need to choose something impressive.
Only something meaningful to you.
Ask yourself.
What is truly worth my energy right now?
Let the question settle in.
Perhaps an answer comes easily.
Maybe you notice a feeling.
A sense of relief.
A quiet recognition.
Or perhaps you simply feel less certain about something you thought you wanted.
That's okay too.
Now imagine turning towards one of the other paths.
It represents something that has been demanding your attention.
And may no longer deserve quite so much of your energy.
You don't have to abandon it.
You You don't have to make a dramatic decision.
Just notice.
What happens when you give yourself permission to stop running down that path.
What might become possible.
If you weren't spending so much energy there.
Allow that possibility to exist.
Without needing to act on it.
Sometimes clarity begins with recognizing what we no longer need to pursue.
You are still standing in the center of the clearing.
The moonlight surrounds you.
All the paths are still there.
But something.
Feels different.
You are no longer trying to travel every path.
You are simply choosing where to place your attention.
Look toward the direction,
The path that feels meaningful.
Imagine taking one small step toward it.
Just one.
Notice how that feels.
There is no rush,
No deadline,
No need to know where the entire path leads.
Ask yourself.
What would it look like to give this my attention?
Without turning it into another pressure.
Perhaps the answer is to slow down.
To simplify.
To make rum.
To begin or to try.
Or to stop trying quite so hard.
Whatever comes,
Let it be enough.
Silently repeat.
My energy matters.
I can choose what deserves my attention.
I don't have to pursue everything.
I can move toward what matters at my own pace.
Now let the words go.
As you stand quietly beneath the hunter's moon.
No searching.
No chasing.
No proving.
Just you.
And the freedom to choose.
When you're ready.
Begin walking along the path.
You've chosen.
Slowly.
Notice the moonlight guiding your view of the path.
You can see clearly.
To take another step forward.
But you don't need to see.
The entire journey.
Feel the earth beneath your feet.
The quiet of the forest.
The steadiness of your breathing.
As you walk.
Consider one final question.
What deserves more of my attention?
In this next season.
Of my life.
Allow a word,
An image,
Or a feeling to emerge.
Perhaps it's peace.
Connection.
Purpose.
Joy.
Rest.
Or something entirely your own.
Whatever you've discovered.
You don't have to do anything with it immediately.
You can simply carry the awareness with you.
Look up at the hunter's full moon one more time.
Its light remains steady.
And so can you.
Now allow the forest to slowly fade from your view.
The trees.
The paths.
The moonlight.
Bring your attention back to your breath.
Feel your body supported beneath you.
Notice your hands.
Your feet.
The space around you.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Before opening your eyes,
Remember the path you chose.
Not because you must follow it perfectly.
But because you deserve to spend your energy on what matters to you.
There will always be something asking for your attention.
Another opportunity.
Another expectation.
Another.
Thing to accomplish.
But you don't have to chase everything that appears in front of you.
You can pause.
You can thoughtfully choose.
And you can trust yourself to recognize what matters most to you.
Take one final breath.
And when you're ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Welcome back.
