Let's take a moment to enjoy the autumn by walking in the cool air while being completely present in the moment.

Start walking.

Finding a pace that feels good.

As you find your rhythm,

Let your hands and arms move gently and your shoulders relax.

Breathe deeply.

As you acknowledge each breath,

Enjoy this relaxing moment as you appreciate the crisp autumn air.

Let your thoughts release anything that is occupying your mind.

This time is for you.

It is time for you to just be here.

Take a deep breath.

Breathe in gratitude.

Breathe out any anxiety.

Allow any distractions to gently drift away while returning your focus to your breath.

Let's embrace our senses as we walk.

Observe the world around you.

Have the colors of the leaves on the trees shifted?

Bright orange,

Yellow,

Or red?

Or are the branches already bare?

View the details as you move past.

If you are outside,

Notice if it is a sunny fall day or overcast and gray.

Despite the changes in the seasons surrounding you,

What do you notice?

Now listen.

Listen to the world around you.

A breeze.

The crunch of brittle leaves beneath your feet.

What do you hear?

Now acknowledge the smells surrounding you.

Do the leaves have a musty smell?

Once you breathe in,

Does the air carry the smell of burning wood?

Or perhaps there are other smells?

Just appreciate.

Allow your muscles to savour this moment.

As you walk,

Do you feel your limbs warm beneath your clothing?

Notice the brisk air as it reddens your cheeks.

As your feet touch the ground,

Do you feel the earth hardening in the cool weather?

Is the sun warming you,

Or do grey skies nip at your exposed skin?

Breathing in the cooler air,

Your lungs appreciate the oxygen that allows your body to warm itself.

What do you feel as you walk?

You are filled with calm and peace.

As you welcome each of your senses,

You are present in this moment.

A moment that is right and perfect.

Take another deep breath,

Feeling appreciation for being here,

Now.
