Sometimes in life, we need an opportunity to create and hold space for ourselves; to take a moment, a pause, a beat. To tune out so we can tune in. And that’s exactly what this session is here to offer you - an intentional, conscious decision to move forward in life’s next moments from a place of response vs. reaction. Sometimes in life,

We need an opportunity to create and hold space for ourselves.

To take a moment,

A pause,

A beat.

To tune out so that we can tune in.

And that's exactly what this session is here to offer you.

An intentional,

Conscious decision to move forward in life's next moments from a place of response versus reaction.

In this session,

We'll take 10 deep breaths together.

Breathing in through our nose and out through our mouth.

On the inhale,

I want you to imagine that your breath is traveling into your body to clean out and clear away any tension,

Any worry,

Any anxiety,

Anything that's not serving you.

And on the exhale,

Letting your breath physically carry out whatever that may be.

So before we begin,

Take a moment to ground yourself into this space and into this session.

Maybe that means closing the eyes,

Letting your attention begin to travel from your outside world into your inside world.

Maybe that means letting your hands rest comfortably somewhere on your body,

Folded in your lap,

Maybe placing one hand on your heart,

One hand on your belly,

Wherever feels the most supportive to you.

Or even letting yourself be fully and completely held by whatever surface it is that you are seated on.

Knowing that nothing and no one in this moment needs your attention or your energy.

And as we begin to come into this session,

We'll start by finding our natural breath.

Just bringing a little more intention and awareness to the natural breath.

And noticing if anything happens here organically.

Maybe you feel your breath a little bit deeper into your body.

Maybe just the awareness of your breath allows you to slow the breath down,

To soften the breath.

Just seeing what you can notice in these first few moments.

Very good.

Allowing your breath to help relax any tension in the body,

Any physical tension or maybe even any emotional tension you may be coming into your practice with today.

And in these next few moments,

We'll move into our ten deep breaths.

And breathing in through our nose,

Breathing out through the mouth.

And while this is an intentional practice with our breath,

Breath work is always a practice of listening to our body.

So breathing in and out only as deeply as your body desires to today.

So whenever you're ready,

Let's inhale through the nose,

Exhale out of the mouth.

One.

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale out of your mouth.

Two.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Three.

Inhale.

Four.

Five.

Six.

Exhale.

Ten.

Letting your breath return to its natural state,

And giving yourself a moment to just linger in your practice,

Feeling the effects of what those ten breaths allowed you to experience today.

And once that feels complete to you,

If your eyes are closed,

Softly opening them,

Bringing your attention,

Your awareness back into whatever space you're in,

With eyes open,

Taking one final deep breath in through your nose,

Thanking yourself for being in this space,

For dedicating this short but sweet practice,

And as you exhale out of your mouth,

Letting go of anything that does not serve or support you from this moment forward.

Thank you so much for being with me today and for allowing me to guide and support your practice.

I'm so proud of you.

I'll see you again soon.

Take care.
