In this short reflection into peace, know that you are able to dig out from your discouragement and reach for hope. It is in our stillness that we gain our perspective. It is in our quiet and our contemplation that we find our answers. May you feel this now.

From discouragement to hopeful.

You are not here by accident.

You are here by divine appointment.

Now breathe deeply,

Experience completely,

And feel freely.

Allow my words to become your words.

There might be times when I feel completely discouraged because of regret.

When this happens to me,

I can feel the pain and discomfort of the longing for what could have been.

I am discouraged.

I might decide to take no action and withdraw from things that make my heart sing.

When surrounded by these feelings,

I know that if I become quiet and still in the moment,

I can ask myself for inner guidance,

For direction on digging out of the discouragement.

We make decisions based on all the information that we have at the time.

There is no regret.

But sitting in that feeling,

We know what we don't want.

When we become quiet and in the stillness,

We can know that in my mind,

I can know within my mind that I am never separate from spirit.

And spirit will help me to realize and claim the truth in my heart.

I will be able to act when needed.

Just as there is strength in spirit,

I can find strength within myself and I can see hope on the horizon.

In the quiet knowing of my heart and in the silence of my practice,

I listen to what it is that I need to find hope.

I'll meet you on the other side.

I'll meet you on the other side.

I'll meet you on the other side.

In the quiet knowing of my heart,

I am walking towards the good that is already coming my way.

I am filled with hope knowing that the divine is my strength and my motivation.

I know I can work from being discouraged to being hopeful.

I see this in my daily practice and I know in my stillness that my heart is full of hope.

And how do you feel?

May you know that you are loved.
