As you begin today's practice,
Place both feet firmly on the ground and gently press them into the floor.
Feel the earth holding you,
Steady and supportive.
Notice the subtle weight of your body,
Your feet grounding you in this moment.
Take a slow,
Cleansing breath in through the nose and exhale through the mouth with a sigh.
As you breathe,
Feel a sense of spaciousness opening up within you,
Like a doorway to greater awareness.
Now,
From a place of observation and non-judgment,
Just compassion.
Notice where you've been focusing your attention that hasn't been serving you lately.
Perhaps it's something that makes you anxious,
Overwhelmed,
Or in fear.
What stories have you been caught up in?
Where might you have an opportunity to step back and see a new perspective?
Visualize gently zooming out of this area of challenge,
Softening your gaze,
And noticing what possibilities emerge when you give yourself more space.
Ask yourself,
Which of my values might be the solution to this pain?
Perhaps it's values like compassion,
Courage,
Or balance that you want to honor more fully as you widen your view.
How might you take care of yourself now by allowing your values to lead the way?
On your next in-breath,
Bring your hand to your heart space and silently repeat,
I expand my awareness to embrace my values and uncover possibilities.
Feel how this truth lands within you,
Rooting into your heart and radiating out through your entire being.
Take one final breath in,
Receiving clarity and presence,
And exhale,
Feeling calm and aligned.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing your awareness back to the room.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying this expanded awareness and commitment to your values into the rest of your day.
