Welcome to this practice.
Of yoga nidra.
For creativity.
Welcome to your practice.
Welcome to your practice.
Today.
Where you can simply go with the flow here.
In this practice.
And just pay attention to your body as we begin.
And to all the conditions around your body.
So is there.
.
.
Something missing in terms of a prop or a support.
Is something needed to be switched into do not disturb or curtain closed?
All those little preparation things.
So that you can Have a sense.
That the practice could be about dropping into an inner calm.
Into coziness.
This is me time.
Time.
To simply be here.
You where?
In the very busy,
Hectic life that you have.
This time is about.
Non-doing.
There isn't anything at all to do here.
So simply to be is enough.
There's no one to please or attend to.
There's no tasks to get done or deadlines.
Nothing at all is expected of you in this practice.
There's no performing.
There's no getting it right or getting it wrong.
So just being.
Is the practice.
And there isn't any goal in this practice.
There's nowhere to go to.
You're already here.
What is?
The whole journey,
Every single moment strung together with the next one.
Was.
Practice.
No aim,
No goal.
Just open experiencing.
Open to experience.
And how would that be if,
In the subtlest way,
You shifted something in your body?
Towards a bit more openness,
So that the body supported you in expressing an openness to experiencing.
Open to experiencing.
I'm experiencing being open.
And then.
.
.
Shifting your attention.
To the back side of the body.
And remembering what's below you.
Can you let your imagination awaken?
And trace down through all those layers of support until you reach the surface of the earth.
Perhaps there's some props and you pass through those to a bed,
A floor,
A sofa.
You pass through that.
To the floor.
All the way down through all the layers until you reach surface of the earth.
And remembering.
That little piece of earth that's beneath you,
Supporting you,
Is a part of a great big enormous planet.
She welcomes you to rest.
She welcomes you to rest your body.
On her body.
And then to continue this play with imagination.
And draw a protective circle around your body,
A circle of protection.
Made of whatever material or color.
Light of some material that will.
.
.
Help you to feel safe.
How would it be to see yourself drawing this circle around you?
All the way,
Completing the full circle around your body.
Her body the very center of this circle.
Outside of the circle are things like expectations,
Deadlines,
To-do lists.
People who require something of you.
But within this circle.
Can delegate to me time.
Time to simply be and to rest.
And in that rest process,
Welcoming some healing.
Resting.
To heal.
And resting to be open.
To experiencing.
Letting your ears open.
Two sounds.
To the sounds within the space.
Where you are.
And to sounds.
Maybe you can notice sounds a bit farther away.
And in the most passive way,
Just receiving sound.
Far away Soundless closer.
And sounds from within your circle of protection.
The subtle sound of your own breath.
And to shift,
Listening inwardly.
Take some moments to listen without words.
To the inner landscape of this body.
This practice continues with an invitation.
An invitation to extend this.
Superpower of listening.
Into the whole landscape of the body.
As though you could flow an open listening presence around.
The whole body.
Deep listening.
And refined.
Listening.
That can hear and sense the very subtle.
Out in the background below the surface.
The very subtle and the quieter.
Bringing attention.
To sense the very top of the head.
Sensations at the top of the head as though you could hear them.
It's a pulse or vibration.
Top of the head to the forehead.
Inside the forehead,
Below the surface.
In behind the forehead.
Listening.
And behind the eyes.
And listening.
To sensation,
To pulse,
To small vibration.
And listening into the space.
Of the brain.
On all these layers of fabric.
Sensation.
And thought.
And energy all together.
Listening.
This listening presence into the innermost ears on the inside of the head.
And from deep inside the ear.
To the inside.
Of the nose.
Sensing of that touch of breath within the nose.
Listening.
And this journey a flow into the mouth.
Sensing the tongue as though you could listen to this tongue.
But it's still.
That contains a flow.
Teeth and gums,
The waters of the mouth.
Of listening to the inside.
Of the mouth and the whole face.
This whole face.
On the outside.
And on the inside.
And this whole head.
On the outside.
And on the inside.
And the throat and the neck,
The listening.
The base of the neck.
The base of the throat.
And listening to the collarbones out to the very heart of the shoulders.
Upper arms and elbows,
The lower arms and wrists.
Listening into the palms of the hands.
Back of hands and fingers.
And then a flow from the palms of the hands,
The whole hands.
Of the arms.
Right into the space of the heart.
As though these hands were wings of the heart.
And a slow,
Gentle flow from heart to heart.
To hands and back to heart.
These hands that express.
When you flow back into the heart space.
Sensing the whole chest.
The whole chest alive and vibrant with sensation that can be heard and sensed.
The diaphragm.
Doing its dance of connection,
Upper torso,
And lower torso,
This diaphragm.
And they're listening into the belly.
Behind the navel.
And into the lower back.
And into the ribs on the right side and the ribs on the left side.
And the whole torso.
Listening.
And down into the pelvic bone,
As though you could listen to that space behind the pubic bones.
And I'm listening to this pelvic bowl and all the wisdom.
So deep.
And listening inwards.
And then listening to the hip joints and upper thighs,
The knees and lower legs.
Listening into the ankles.
The heels and soles of the feet.
Tops of feet and toes.
And listening to these feet.
Through their pulse and sensation,
Vibration,
Noticing what can be sensed.
And are listening into this whole body.
At rest.
And listening to this audio.
Body.
Flowing in stillness.
Listening to this whole body.
Is a kind of truth teller.
This body containing a truth.
And shifting.
To witnessing.
The breath.
Without any change to the breath,
Just noticing it.
Biggest breath.
Containing the whole of life within.
That and inhale like your very first breath.
Each inhale containing a burst.
The potential of a beginning.
Each exhale.
Containing an ending.
The whole of life within one cycle of breath.
Beginning.
The nip and take.
One cycle of breath.
Connected to the next.
Exhale,
Making space.
For a brand new inhale.
How would it be?
To notice the transitions between breaths.
Space between.
Between the very top of the inhale.
Where it begins to release and to exhale.
That space.
A transition.
And then to rest the tension at the very bottom of the exhale.
And to notice the inhale arising.
To let this go.
And simply let this go with a deep sense of trust.
That this breath will be.
Will breathe you.
We'll continue to breathe you and the trust in that.
And the practice continues.
In their remembering.
Of your circle.
The circle of protection.
And to be able to really sense yourself within the circle.
Here and now.
Outside of the circle and contained within.
Is the you who you are becoming.
Who you are birthing.
Who you are healing through this rest practice.
How would it be?
To see her.
To see her who you are birthing,
Who you are becoming.
Who is whole?
She who is whole.
She who is healed.
To see she who embodies the power.
Greatest potential.
And the practice continues as you return to inner listening.
Listening to.
Arrested body.
How does a rested body sound on the inside?
You can't get it right and you can't get it wrong.
Open the swing.
The joy of listening,
The freedom to listen within.
And to return very slowly.
It's this practice.
Circles back.
Two words.
Towards its ending.
Welcome back.
Welcoming play and joy as you return.
Welcoming play and joy.
So how would it be to sense the teeth inside the mouth,
To run your tongue over the teeth to make sure.
That the teeth.
Are still there.
And to find your thumb connected to each.
Fingertips.
Making sure all the fingers are still there.
And to sense this body waking up to movement.
And play.
As though through your waking up process,
Waking up to being.
Awake,
You could touch into some meaning.
Playing at the meaning of life as you come back.
Playing at the meaning of life,
Returning to life.
Wakefulness.
And remembering.
The you,
Who you sound like.
Remembering she.
Who is whole.
Healed,
Healthy.
And embodied in full potential,
Remembering her.
She'll return.
And this practice comes to a close.
Welcome back from your practice.
This practice is now complete.
Back and welcome back home to yourself.
Thank you for your practice.
