Resting comfortably now.
Feeling safe,
Calm and at ease.
I want you to give yourself permission to take this time just for you.
I want you to relax and just for a little while at least,
I want you to let go.
Let go of all the thoughts of responsibility that would normally preoccupy your mind.
Feeling totally assured that if anything were to require your immediate attention,
You would instantly be capable of attending to it.
But for now,
There is nothing of importance,
Nothing at all to stop you from taking this time to just relax.
To relax and enjoy the feeling of returning to your natural state.
Your natural state of simply just being.
So allowing your eyes to softly close now,
I want you to imagine a beautiful white light.
A radiant white light reaching out and sending rays of protection to soothe,
Warm and comfort you.
It hovers high above you,
Shining clearly and brightly.
It is always there and always ready and available to serve you.
In your mind,
Can you see the vibrant violet white rays?
They are being projected downwards towards you.
I want you to imagine that these rays are being drawn closer and closer with every breath you take.
Closer and closer until the warmth is touching you,
Gently wrapping itself around you,
Cloaking your entire body,
Soothing,
Calming and protecting you from any external negativity.
And just knowing this light is there to protect you,
You don't need to concern yourself about anything.
You can just allow yourself to feel free.
Free to relax and enjoy the feeling of having nothing at all to bother your mind.
Nothing at all to think about.
Nothing other than the here and now.
And right here and now,
All you need to focus on is the air that you breathe.
Breathing deeply and easily,
You can fill your lungs with the purifying air that surrounds you.
Content in the knowledge that your body is being nourished with oxygen and an abundance of energy.
The pure universal energy that is your life force.
This energy is yours and is abundant in every breath you take.
It can be directed by your mind to do anything that you want it to do,
In any way that you want it to do it.
So breathing deeply and easily now,
I want you to ask your mind to direct your pure,
Calming,
Relaxing energy to travel all the way around your body.
From the very top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes.
Breathing in pure relaxation and direct it to every muscle and every fiber in your body.
And with every breath you take,
You are directing yourself to let go.
Directing yourself to let go of all the tension and all the strain.
And you are replacing it with a deep sense of pure relaxation.
Any part of your body that does not feel totally comfortable,
Just direct the energy to that place and allow the muscle to relax.
Just relax,
Allowing your whole body to become limp and loose.
From the very top of your head and all the way down to the soles of your feet.
Allowing to breathe deeply and easily now.
Allowing yourself to let go.
Let go and relax.
Let go of all the strain and all the tension.
Simply allowing it to evaporate and disappear.
Becoming more and more relaxed.
Let go of anything that no longer serves you and watch as it floats upwards and drifts away.
Leaving you feeling calmer,
Calmer and more relaxed.
With each and every breath you take.
Feeling more peaceful and completely awash with pure relaxation.
You are possibly starting to feel so relaxed by now.
Maybe you are thinking it would simply take way too much effort to move right now.
That's just fine.
I'm sure you could probably move if you wanted to,
But it would be understandable if you chose to just stay there and bask in pure relaxation.
Indeed,
Why would you even want to move when you can stay there and enjoy the peace and the feeling of being so deeply comfortable.
So,
So relaxed.
And so deeply comfortable.
Remaining totally relaxed and continuing to breathe deeply and easily.
I wonder,
Are you aware that there is a deeper level of relaxation?
One that is so much deeper than the one you are experiencing right now.
I would like for you to have the pleasure of experiencing this much deeper level of relaxation.
So,
If you are ready,
I would like for you to imagine the biggest,
Softest,
Fluffiest cloud you have ever seen.
This cloud is floating just beneath you,
Waiting to support the weight of your body as you sink deeper and deeper down.
I will count back from 10 to 1 and as the numbers get lower,
Your body will sink further and further into the cloud,
Allowing yourself to feel more and more relaxed.

Sinking deeper and deeper into the cloud,
Just allow yourself to let go.

Deeper and deeper as the cloud gently swaddles you,
You feel sleepy and deeply relaxed.

Deeper and deeper still now,
Allowing the cloud to cushion your entire body,
Feeling deeply deeply relaxed.

Deeper and deeper,
Allowing the cloud to take the entire weight of your body,
You are becoming so sleepy.

Deeper and deeper down,
You are being totally supported so you can totally let go.

Sinking even deeper and deeper down,
Your body is feeling almost weightless now,
Sleepier and sleepier and ever so relaxed.

You have lost all sense of having a body now as you fall deeper and deeper,

Only aware of your mind and my voice now as you intertwine and become one with the cloud.
You are sleepier and sleepier and more relaxed than you have ever been before.

Deeply deeply asleep.

You are free to let your mind wander to anywhere you would like.
You don't even have to pay any attention to what I am saying,
Not if you don't want to.
You are free to dream about whatever you please.
You may occasionally hear something I say and then drift off again,
And that's ok,
Because you don't have to listen to me to benefit from this experience.
Your subconscious will do the listening and hear every word I say.
Your subconscious mind is now open and ready to receive new suggestions,
New ideas,
New concepts and new ways of looking at things.
These suggestions will have an immediate and lasting effect upon your life.
As the unique and valuable person that you are,
You love yourself and show yourself respect and you have the confidence to expect others to also treat you with love and respect.
You have the confidence to reject any negative comments because you know you are a very interesting person and others enjoy listening to what you have to say.
You know yourself very well and you like this person that you know.
You are well aware of your own intentions and you don't need to worry if others who don't know you very well misinterpret your words or your actions.
There are millions and millions of people on this planet,
Every one of them completely unique.
It is not your job to accommodate all these individuals.
You can listen to what they have to say and if you agree,
That's fine.
If not,
You can respectfully reject their belief and have the confidence to stand by your own.
And every time you have the confidence to stand by your own belief,
It has the effect of making you feel even more confident.
You are feeling more and more confident every day.
You can walk around with your head held high,
Confident and proud of the fact that you are a kind,
Loving and understanding person who has a lot to offer.
And if other people have not yet recognized this,
You now have the confidence to make them notice.
And when they do notice and start to compliment you,
You can and will accept the compliment knowing it is well deserved.
And you can feel proud and confident about yourself.
With your new self-confidence,
You can be more assertive and more sure of yourself.
More willing to go for and achieve your goals.
And with each goal you achieve,
No matter how small,
Your confidence and your self-esteem just grows and grows.
You will feel happy that your social life has improved,
Now that you have the confidence to approach others and initiate a conversation.
You find people are very receptive to you and are charmed by your warm nature and your easy natural style.
You have the confidence to make your own suggestions as you realize you don't need to just go along with others,
Unless you feel others' suggestions are better than yours.
And sometimes you may think they are,
And other times maybe not.
But you have the confidence to make up your own mind and stand by what you think.
And others will respect you for this.
You will learn new and exciting things because you are no longer shy about bringing attention to yourself.
You have the confidence to ask questions and the intelligence to understand the response.
You are feeling so much more self-assured.
You have the confidence to ask more questions and your knowledge increases,
Giving you more confidence still.
You are feeling happy and content with yourself and therefore have no need to judge others.
And if others judge you,
You can feel compassion because they don't have the same confidence in themselves that you have in you.
And you will feel good and thankful for the opportunity to prove yourself,
That you have the ability to be compassionate.
And this,
You recognize,
Has increased your self-worth and your confidence in yourself.
And now,
When you look in the mirror,
It pleases you to see this vibrant,
Confident,
Self-assured,
Kind,

And compassionate,
