This healing meditation uses visualization to boost your immune system and help you heal from unwanted physical conditions.
To begin,
Sit or lie down in a comfortable place.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out tension from your body.
Take another deep breath in and breathe out tension.
Take one more deep breath in and breathe out all remaining tension.
Allow your breathing to fall into its own natural rhythm,
Not trying to control it in any way.
Just observing as you breathe in relaxation and breathe out tension.
If thoughts intrude,
Allow them to pass and return your attention to the meditation.
As I count down from seven to one,
Relax further with each count.
One,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now,
Turn your attention to the area of your body wherein illness or problem exists.
Observe the cells in this part of your body.
Notice that some of the cells appear damaged or irregular in some way.
You may see them as oddly shaped,
Inflamed or of an unpleasant color.
These are the unhealthy cells associated with the illness.
As you continue to observe your body,
You'll also notice many cells that look strong and healthy.
These cells are well formed and whole.
They may be a bright,
Beautiful color or seem to glow with a radiant white light.
These are your healthy cells.
The healthy cells are part of your body's natural defense system.
They protect you against harmful cells that invade and damage your body.
Imagine the healthy cells surrounding and permeating the unhealthy ones.
Sense the healthy cells absorbing and transforming the unhealthy ones into brilliant,
Healthy cells.
Observe the action until all of the cells have been transformed into luminescent,
Healthy cells.
Visualize your body as being free.
Watch as the healthy cells repair any damage left behind by the unhealthy cells.
Notice that the area where the illness once existed is now glowing with radiant white light.
Visualize and feel your body as completely healthy,
Strong and whole.
Hold this image in your mind.
Feel what you would feel being healthy and free of the illness or problem.
You can choose to return to your usual level of wakefulness and alertness or drift into sleep.
If you choose to awaken,
Feel your body and mind becoming more aware of your surroundings.
If you decide to sleep,
Let the relaxation deepen.
I will count to five.
When I reach five,
You will be at your desired level of relaxation or alertness.
