This meditation aims to activate physical, mental, and energetic healing. It can help you if you struggle with a chronic health issue or an injury. This practice involves a kriya (movement of energy) and a mantra (internal sound) and is easy to follow. It starts with breathwork to help you refine your breath and awareness and to calm your mind. Then, we will move on to a kriya meditation in two parts. First, we will draw the life force energy from the universe and then send that energy to a specific area that requires healing. For best results, do this meditation every day for at least 30 days.

Welcome.

This meditation aims to activate physical,

Mental and energetic healing.

We will start with a short breath work preparation and then we'll move on to a Kriya which is a movement of energy and a mantra,

Internal sound.

The mantra for this specific meditation is Sat Vam.

It is a mantra for truth,

Nurturance and healing.

You will be repeating this internal sound silently to help facilitate healing.

If this feels like too much for you,

You can initially practice this meditation without a mantra.

Please start settling in,

Settling into your meditation position.

Make sure you sit comfortable with your back straight and that maybe you need some cushions for support.

So take anything you need,

Take your space and take just a little moment to reflect on what you want to heal and why.

It is important that you keep yourself as detached as possible,

Not needing to achieve a specific result.

The life force energy will do the healing work.

So just a little moment and whenever you are ready be aware that this practice is about to start.

Sit with your back straight,

Your arms relaxed and place your hands on your thighs.

Gently tuck your chin in and relax your face.

Start connecting with your breath.

Notice how your breath feels right now and start gently deepening the breath.

Deepen your breath so that your abdomen and chest will rise on the inhalation and sink back toward the spine as you exhale.

Inhale,

Abdomen and chest rise.

Exhale,

Abdomen and chest fall.

Have the intention to establish a deep,

Smooth and relaxed breathing.

Inhalation is rising.

Exhalation is falling.

Notice if there is any sound to your breath.

If yes,

Try to make it as silent as possible.

Have the intention to make your breath as smooth and as silent as possible.

But the breath remains deep and balanced and calm.

Notice how each inhalation transitions smoothly into the exhalation and how the exhalation turns effortlessly into an inhalation.

Please continue with this deep,

Smooth and balanced breathing for a few more moments.

If you notice distraction in your mind,

Bring yourself back to the awareness of your breath.

Now allow the breath to become effortless.

Notice how your breath feels in this moment.

We are moving now to the stage one of the self-healing Kriya.

Sense the infinite sea of healing energy surrounding your body,

Vast and limitless.

In yoga we call that energy prana.

It is the life force.

In a moment you will be drawing that energy down from the top of your head along the spine to the center of your pelvis,

Which is also the center of your second chakra.

Take a full inhalation and a complete exhalation and on your next inhalation draw the energy from the crown down through the spine to the center of your pelvis,

Mentally repeating the mantra SAT.

As you exhale,

Sense this life force energy filling the center of your pelvis,

The second chakra.

And as you do so,

Mentally chant VAM,

The mantra for fluidity and nurturance.

Inhale the life force energy from the top of your head down the spine to the center of your pelvis,

Mantra SAT.

Hold the breath in and keep your awareness in the center of your pelvis.

Exhale and sense that energy filling the second chakra.

Mentally chant VAM,

Healing and nurturance.

Inhale,

Sense life force energy going down from the top of your head down the spine to the center of your pelvis,

SAT.

Hold the breath in and keep your awareness in the center of your pelvis.

Exhale and sense that energy filling the second chakra,

VAM,

Healing and nurturance.

Please continue with this breath pattern for a few more moments.

Inhale from the top of your head all the way down the spine to the center of your pelvis.

Hold the breath in for a moment.

Exhale,

Sense that energy filling the center of your pelvis,

Your second chakra.

Inhale,

SAT.

Exhale,

VAM.

Please continue.

Please take three more breaths like this.

Allow your breath to become effortless for a moment and again sense that infinite sea of healing energy surrounding your body.

Now let's move on to the second stage of this meditation.

The second stage of this meditation involves breathing and directing energy in a similar way.

So you will still inhale from the top of your head down the spine to the center of your pelvis and hold the breath in for a little moment and with the exhalation now you can direct the energy to a specific area or part of your body you wish to heal.

You can also radiate it out through the entire body for general healing and the mantra stays the same.

It is still SAT VAM.

Inhale,

Draw the energy from the top of your head down your spine to the center of your pelvis,

Mentally chanting SAT.

Hold your breath in for a moment.

Exhale and draw from the spool of healing energy in the second chakra and direct it to the specific area you wish to heal or through the entire body for general healing.

Silently repeat VAM.

Inhale energy down to the center of your pelvis.

Hold it in.

Exhale send that energy to a specific area you wish to heal.

Inhale SAT.

Exhale VAM.

Please continue.

Stay calm and focused and sense the energy,

The life force moving in your body.

You are shaping that energy with your awareness.

Inhale from the top of your head down the spine,

SAT.

Hold the breath in,

Awareness in the center of your pelvis.

Exhale energy from the pelvis to the specific area you wish to heal,

VAM.

Please continue breathing and directing your energy in this way.

Inhale SAT.

Exhale VAM.

Healing and nurturance.

Please complete three more rounds of this breath.

Allow your breath to become effortless.

Become aware of the area you have been working on.

Perhaps you can sense this area more vibrant,

Filled with energy.

Know that the healing process has begun.

Finally,

For a moment rest your awareness in the center of your pelvis.

Breathe effortlessly.

If you notice your mind thinking bring your awareness back to the center of your pelvis.

Start deepening your breath.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.
