
Yoga Nidra For Healing Injury Or Physical Disease
This unique Yoga Nidra session aims to activate physical, mental, and energetic healing. You will connect to the part of you that is always at rest, which will lead you to a healing image, activating specific healing. This practice is especially helpful for an injury or physical disease you struggle with. You will rest your awareness in a dream state and relax profoundly. Props: yoga mat, optionally bolster, blanket.

Yoga Nidra for specific healing.
Please prepare your space and make yourself comfortable.
You can lay down on a yoga mat or blanket.
Be aware that this is the time for you to nurture and heal yourself.
The aim of this practice is to heal body,
Mind and spirit.
Yoga Nidra is a healing practice in itself,
But in this specific session there is an extra component to support healing.
Make sure your head is supported,
Your ankles are touching the floor,
Wider than the hips and you can allow the feet to fall to the sides.
Your arms are relaxed,
Palms of the hands are turning upward.
Shoulders are falling down toward the ground,
Your chest is open.
You can cover your eyes with a towel if you like.
You can also cover your body with a blanket.
Make any final adjustments now so that you don't need to move during the practice.
Have the intention to relax completely.
In this practice the body and mind will sleep,
Awareness will remain awake.
Have the intention to remain awake during the practice,
Even if your body and mind will sleep.
Become aware of your body and the space you are in.
Notice your body laying on the floor,
Your body opening to the pull of gravity.
Be aware of this unique moment in this unique space,
Turning into the rhythm of rest.
Become aware of your breath moving in and out from the space of your body,
Breathing in and out through the nostrils.
Relax and simply be aware of the movement of your breath as your body keeps opening to the earth.
On the inhalation notice your abdomen rising.
On the exhalation the abdomen is falling.
Gently deepening the breath with the intention to make it as smooth as possible.
Inhalation is rising.
Exhalation is falling.
Keep surrendering to the breath.
Notice your body and mind turning into a rhythm of relaxation.
Body and mind transition towards sleep.
Allow the breath to flow in the perfect rhythm for this moment.
Now just experience your body breathing.
You are the witness observing your body breathing.
Your body sleeps and mind sleeps.
Awareness is awake and aware.
Become aware of sounds.
Bring your attention to the most distant sounds you can hear.
Gently move your attention to the closer sounds.
Sounds that are closer to your body resting on the floor.
Allow your awareness to move inward and become aware of sensations.
Aware of sensations.
Gently you will notice the most familiar sensations.
It may feel like tension in your body,
Maybe some soreness.
Have the intention to let go,
To relax.
Now start becoming aware of more subtle,
Unique sensations.
Notice the areas where you feel ease and flow and the areas where you feel tension or holding.
Maybe you experience gentle tingling or pulsing.
Feel letting go and surrendering to the earth.
Sense your body getting heavier.
Your awareness even more present.
Your body opening to the earth.
With each exhalation have the intention to relax and surrender more and more.
Sense a nurturing tone inside and outside of the body.
Remember that there is a part of you that is always at rest,
Always at ease.
Feel that part of you that is free from doubt,
Illness and sorrow.
This is the seer or the witness.
That part of you that watches you moving through all experiences of life.
Offer the practice that you are about to do to this part of yourself.
During this essence,
Peacefully,
Make a resolve that you will stay aware during the practice.
Your body and mind will sleep,
But your awareness will remain awake.
Please turn your attention to the injury,
Health condition or physical pain you wish to transform.
Take a moment from the place of the seer or the witness to become aware of what you wish to transform.
Just be aware of it without trying to make something happen.
Begin to notice some unique sensations rising out of that observation.
Just observe the sensations unfold.
Are there any stories,
Feelings and emotions associated with it?
Watch the flow of sensations from the distance and allow them to expand.
Re-notice unique tightness,
Contraction or changes in your breathing.
You are the witness observing these changes.
Allow the sensations to evolve into an image or symbol.
Allow the illness or injury itself to reveal to you an image associated with it.
Just relax.
See or feel the very thing you wish to transform as a fully manifested image or symbol.
A part of your body or the whole body becomes a living,
Breathing image.
Please relax and clear this image from the screen of the mind.
Bring your awareness to the breath.
Allow your body to open and observe your body breathing.
Notice the breath returning to the perfect rhythm for this moment.
Be aware of every inhalation rising and exhalation falling.
Be aware of the transition between the inhalations and exhalations.
Just observe and remain effortless.
Connect with the seer,
The one that always rests,
That is always aware.
As you relax more completely and the breath flows effortlessly,
Feel the heels being pulled to the earth.
Feel your calves being pulled down.
Notice your thighs letting go.
Feel your hips becoming heavy,
Your lower back softening,
Abdomen sinking toward the spine.
Feel your heart and lungs relaxing.
Become aware of both arms and hands falling heavily into the ground.
Your jaw and facial muscles relax,
Upper and lower teeth slightly apart,
Your tongue relaxes.
Notice your eyes,
Forehead,
Ears softening and relaxing.
Your whole body opens to the earth and the breath flows effortlessly through the body.
Bring your awareness to the midbrain.
Sense or feel a point of light there,
Like a little star.
This is a vital healing presence.
You will be moving that presence through various parts of the body as your body and mind continue to sleep.
Your awareness remains awake.
Move the point of light to the throat center.
Feel the vital presence there.
Aware of right shoulder,
Right elbow,
Right wrist remain effortless.
Point of light in the tip of the right thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Middle finger,
Right wrist,
Point of light,
Right elbow,
Right shoulder,
Healing presence.
Throat center,
Little light.
Center of left shoulder,
Left elbow,
Left wrist,
Healing presence.
Point of light in the tip of the left thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,

Middle finger,
Left wrist,
Left elbow,
Left shoulder,
Point of light,
Throat center.
Feel the innate healing presence.
Body and mind are sleeping.
Awareness is awake.
Move the point of light to the center of the chest.
Right side of the chest.

Healing presence.
Point below the navel.
Feel this little light.
Point above the sacrum.
Center of right hip,
Right knee,
Right ankle.
Tip of the right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Fifth toe,

Little light,

Right hip.
Point above the sacrum.
Move the healing presence to the center of left hip,
Left knee,
Left ankle.
Tip of the left big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,

Healing presence,

Point above the sacrum.
Point below the navel,
Healing light,
Heart center,
Throat center.
Point in between the eyebrows.
Become aware of the entire body like an empty vessel,
Spacious.
The space inside the body is the same as the space outside.
Sense all these points of light occupying that space like a constellation of stars in the dark sky.
Relax into the spaciousness and the points of light.
The sense of body boundaries dissolve.
You are spacious awareness,
The one that is always at rest,
Always at peace.
You are the seer.
Watch the body breathe,
The breath moving through that pure space.
The body is like a dark sky and the points of light like a constellation of stars.
The breath is moving through infinite space.
Body sleeps,
Mind sleeps.
You are infinite awareness remaining awake and aware.
Bring your awareness to the flow of the breath.
Your body opens to the earth,
Healing and resting.
From the seat of the seer,
Our essence always desires to expand and know itself.
Experience this essence expressing itself as your healing potential.
Become aware of your innate healing capacity.
Healing force expressing itself.
Notice it starting to intensify and grow.
Sense the cells in your body responding to this healing potential.
Notice where in your body this presence is the most profound.
Become aware of your innate healing capacity.

Become aware of the unique sensations associated to this healing force coming to life.

See it and feel it.
Remain effortless.
Perhaps this symbol is an antidote to the image you saw earlier.
Surrender to that antidote.
Experience it as healing.
Become aware of the image becoming you and you becoming the image.
Relax.
Slowly return to your breath.
Feel the healing image still present.
Remain effortless.
Begin to deepen your breath and to move.
Slowly sit up.
Take your time.
Place your warm hands on the abdomen.
When you are ready,
Turn to one side and then come up to sitting.

When I started this practice my neck was really sore. Now itβs just fine. Wonderful!
