Bismillah,
Rahman,
Rahim,
In the name of oneness,
Most compassionate,
Most merciful,
Most kind.
Welcome to guided remembrance.
And I want to encourage you to get comfortable.
And just begin by noticing the breath.
See if you can notice your breath without controlling it.
And even if you control it a little bit.
Also notice that.
So And noticing how you feel.
Understanding what's true for you in your physical body.
And what's it like to not have to fight what your physical body feels like if there's something unpleasant?
Just accepting it.
And then bringing your attention to your heart.
Letting your head bow.
Letting your heart bow.
Wanting to call the name of the Divine through the open doorway of your heart.
Calling through the open doorway of your heart.
And then listening and noticing.
Perceiving.
What is there in the space after you call out?
What is there in the space after you call out?
What is there in the space after you call out?
What is there in the space after you call out?
At its simplest,
The remembrance is simply this calling out.
Calling through the heart,
From the heart,
Through the heart to the Divine.
And then listening and noticing.
And then calling out again.
And listening and noticing.
Allah.
Whatever name you use for the Divine.
As a Sufi,
I use Allah,
Which has no gender.
And simply means the One.
The Oneness.
Universal Source.
Just calling that through your heart.
And then noticing.
Allah.
What is there in the space after you call out?
Just letting yourself drop even more deeply.
Letting go even more anything that you're carrying.
Any story,
Any feeling,
Anything that's between you and the Divine.
Just noticing it and letting it go.
And continuing to call out through your heart in remembrance.
Lost it to you.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
And continuing to let your heart be opened and widened and deepened.
Letting the remembrance and the calling of the Divine,
Letting that response of the Divine do whatever it does to you.
Not looking for any particular kind of response but being open to anything and everything that comes.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Umm,
Umm,
Umm,
Umm.
Taking a gentle breath,
Looking inside,
Noticing what your heart is like after this simple calling out and noticing.
And noticing if you have any authentic gratitude or appreciation for anything that you might have experienced or received.
Letting yourself express that towards the One.
And then as long as you'd like,
You can continue to be in remembrance.
And I wish peace and love and kindness and gentleness and ease upon each and every one of your hearts.
Peace.
