All too often in life and business you probably face the challenge that two things are true. One, you're way too tired. Bone-tired, weary, depleted. The other truth is that you still need to show up. Sometimes you cancel, reschedule or otherwise shift things, and sometimes it's just not possible.

Bismillah,

Rahman,

Raheem,

In the name of the one most compassionate,

Most merciful,

Most kind.

This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business.

Welcome to the remembrance.

I want to encourage you to,

Oh just take a nice gentle breath.

Just notice how you're feeling and let yourself just rest.

Maybe there's been a lot of deadlines and push.

Maybe there's been a lot of obligations.

Whatever it is,

Poor sleep.

Just noticing how tired you are and letting it be okay to be that tired.

Even when you have a lot to do,

Either we can go into complete collapse or we can kind of try to buck up and push through.

Put on our armor despite our fatigue.

Drink more coffee.

What if it was okay to just be tired?

What I've noticed is that when we're really fatigued,

That there's a tenderness that can come out.

There's a tenderness in who we are and if we don't feel like we have to push through,

If we don't feel like we have to be anything special,

Feel like it's okay to be who we are in that tender,

Almost raw state and just show up for what's here.

There's a different kind of power and strength that can come through us.

It's very different than the pushing.

A coffee,

Caffeine-fueled pushing.

And so just now,

If you can relate to any of this,

Letting yourself bring your attention to your heart,

Beginning to call the name of the divine through the open doorway of your heart,

Remembering the divine is the source of strength and the source of ability,

The source of success,

And the source of nourishment and compassion and ease and gentleness.

And just first letting your heart completely face the divine,

How it's feeling right now.

And just letting your heart completely face the divine,

How it's feeling right now.

And just letting your head bow and letting your heart bow and letting yourself be in a place of humility and sincerity.

And letting your heart immerse itself without needing to push or do anything in the presence of the Oneness.

And then with your heart resting deeply in the divine,

Letting yourself face the world in remembrance,

But without needing to push,

Without needing to be any different than you are.

Just noticing the tenderness and the rawness and what can come through you.

Your heart still connected to the divine,

Still calling the remembrance through your heart.

And just noticing what is available to your heart.

Noticing what is available to your heart.

Noticing what is available to your heart.

And just letting yourself rest into the divine,

In that vulnerability and rawness,

Even as you face whatever it is that's in your life.

Without needing to be more energetic,

More awake,

More with it.

And instead just letting that softness and that rawness,

That gentleness,

That fatigue be there.

Hmm.

And just letting your heart turn back towards the divine again,

Whatever you were facing,

Knowing that it's cared for entirely by all the One,

By Allah,

By Source.

And just letting yourself rest even more deeply,

Letting your heart rest even more deeply into the source of love,

Calling the name of the divine through your heart.

Noticing any place in your body where you're still making an effort,

Where you're still holding things yourself,

Where you're holding tension,

Where you're holding yourself up,

Where you're holding responsibility for outcome,

Your shoulders or your jaw,

Your calves or your pelvis or your belly,

Or your breath,

Your hands,

Your fingers,

Around your eyes.

Just noticing,

Noticing,

Noticing,

Letting go,

Whatever you're holding there.

Just being aware of,

Asking to be aware of how it's already being held.

We don't need to work that hard.

Hmm.

Hmm.

Hmm.

Hmm.

Hmm.

Oh.

And just noticing how your heart feels resting into the divine,

And allowing any fatigue to be there in rawness.

And then also noticing any authentic gratitude or appreciation for anything that might have happened,

Anything you might have received or experienced.

Just letting yourself express that to the divine.

Hmm.

Taking a nice gentle breath,

And knowing that you can access remembrance whenever you need it,

Allowing yourself to now face your day and your week,

Knowing that you don't have to hold it yourself,

And that the amount of energy that you already have is perfect.

I mean,

Peace and love.

Take care.

When I put the heart on my heart I teared up because of how much I've done and how much is still left but now my headache was healed, my limbs feel relaxed. Hopefully I can sleep and push it through. Thank you!

Me? I am speechless. Seems like you wrote this especially for me. Loved understanding the implication of being held by the Divine, i.e. then we do not have to effort so much (and have stiff shoulders and necks!). I tend to want to recreate high energy moments when i am tired. But the resistance to fatigue makes it persist, with the added pain of the 'second arrow'. Loved the phrase 'see where you hold taking responsibility for an outcome'. This was estremely deep and helpful, thank you ๐Ÿต๐Ÿค—
