Success is partly about skills, about opportunities, about relationships. Success also needs to be built on a deep foundation of trust in yourself. But, if you’ve never been successful in the way you want to be, how do you trust yourself to get there? Your heart holds all the Divine trust you need, and you can find it waiting for you.

Bismillah,

Or Rahman,

Or Rahim,

In the name of the one most compassionate,

Most merciful,

Most kind.

This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business and sometimes it's really hard to trust ourselves in carrying our business forward.

Trusting ourselves in the many ways that we need to trust ourselves and yet that can be lacking.

So I just want to invite you in this moment to notice your lack of trust in yourself.

If it's there,

The ways that you are lacking trust and yearning for trust in yourself,

As able,

As capable to have the ability to follow through to be successful with your business.

Just noticing that.

So much space to feel that.

And then asking,

Asking to be shown,

Willing to be surprised,

Beginning to remember the Divine,

Remembering the presence of the Source of Love and asking to be shown who you are,

Asking to be shown the beingness of you,

Asking to be reminded of past challenges that you have navigated,

That you have walked through,

Probably imperfectly,

Probably with some pain,

Probably could have been done better,

But you have navigated challenges without them being a complete failure.

You probably have some failures in your past too,

We all do,

But asking now to be reminded of the challenges that you've navigated,

Where there has been some success and being shown the resilience,

The resources,

The self that you were imperfectly then navigating that.

And it was unknown to you at the time,

It was the unknown,

A mystery at the time.

En Allah.

Allah.

And also asking to be shown the gifts that the Divine has given you,

The gifts that you carry in your being,

The gifts and abilities,

The things that come naturally to you just because of who you are and how you were made.

Just becoming aware of that,

Asking to be shown,

Willing to be surprised.

What are the things you do naturally that are gifts that you carry?

Just being reminded of that and just saying yes.

It can be so easy to demean,

To think that they are minor or unimportant,

That just because you do it easily,

That somehow it's not a gift and not necessary.

But actually the fact that you do something easily means that it's a gift.

And not everyone has that particular gift or gifts.

And so asking to be shown,

Willing to be surprised,

Opening your heart,

Noticing appreciation for the gifts you've been given and the natural abilities.

Allah.

Allah.

So beautiful.

And now also asking to be shown,

Becoming aware of,

Remembering,

Perceiving.

The skills and abilities that you've learned from experience while there are gifts that you've been given that are just natural to you.

There are also abilities and experiences and skills that you've learned,

That there have been abilities that you've faced,

That you didn't have,

Challenges that have helped you gain new skills,

New mastery and competence.

Asking to be shown things that you've gained and become better at and better at and better at.

Perhaps things that you never knew you could have done when you were young.

That as you grew older,

You learned in all the various ways.

Learned from others who were teachers,

Learned just from trying it yourself,

Learned from experience and from insight,

And then practiced and practiced and got better and better at it.

And asking to be shown those competencies and masteries that you've gained,

Willing to be surprised.

And now.

Asking to be shown more,

Saying yes and really accepting and seeing all the ways that you've grown in competence and mastery in new things.

And something else.

What else did you learn?

What else did you gain competence in?

How many can you list?

How many can you become aware of?

Letting each one in and appreciating all that went into learning and gaining competence and gaining mastery in some cases.

And embracing that and showing gratitude for your ability to do that.

And moving on.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

And now asking to find the appreciation in yourself,

Not just for the gifts and abilities that you were given.

Not just for the ways that you worked and learned to gain competency and mastery in so many ways,

But just asking to be shown,

Coming into appreciation for how your being can face challenges.

How your resources internally as yourself for facing the unknown,

For facing new things.

Between the gifts,

Between your divine connection in your heart,

And between your ability to learn and face new things and to grow from incompetence into competence.

Noticing the brilliance of the entire package of you.

And letting yourself rest into that.

Letting your heart trust the divine package and its ability to face challenges.

To take on things and to be successful.

Just letting yourself rest into yourself,

Your divine self,

And noticing your ability to be successful,

Your ability to trust that you can face new things the way that you have before.

And the wide range and depth of resources that you have.

Taking a nice gentle breath,

Noticing any genuine appreciation for anything that you've received in this remembrance,

Letting yourself express it to the divine.

And bringing your attention back.

Carrying that trust in yourself.

Peace.
