We begin with a deep breath.
Taking in all that fresh oxygen.
And on the release,
Lengthening the exhale.
Letting go of whatever you're ready to let go of in this moment.
And keeping on taking deep breaths throughout this meditation.
So for now,
Dropping any thinking or planning or attempts to figure out to the best of your ability.
When they come up,
Letting them be like clouds in the sky.
Just passing.
Not the focus of your attention.
And leaning back away from the thinking mind into a much deeper sense of being.
Into the light of your true nature.
Visualizing this as a light at the center of your chest.
Small at first.
Perhaps just a glow.
Or even a spark.
And as you breathe deeply and steadily,
This light begins to grow.
This light which is awareness itself.
Deeper than any concept or idea.
As it expands,
Letting it wash your entire being.
With waves of light.
Breathing in.
Your own being.
The I am.
Not I am this or I am that.
Not I am a person who.
But simply I am.
Simply the light filling you.
And as you breathe,
Expanding even beyond the boundaries of the body.
To fill the room that you're in.
And then expanding beyond that in all directions.
As far as you'd like.
Your true nature is limitless.
You are infinite being.
When thoughts come,
Letting them be like clouds in the sky.
You are the sky.
Undisturbed.
Undisturbable.
Resting here as long as you'd like.
In your true nature.
And when you are ready to open your eyes.
Letting your gaze be soft.
Letting your eyes meet the world.
And all it contains as if you've never seen it before.
As if there are no names for these wondrous things that fill it.
And moving into the rest of your day as open as a newborn baby.
Who are you?
When you expand beyond the mind.
This is an adventure that goes on forever and ever.
