I invite you to relax.
Just let the body begin to settle.
Notice wherever you are,
Notice that you are fully supported in this moment.
Notice the places that your body is in contact with,
Furniture,
Floor,
Ultimately with earth,
And notice that you are completely held up in this moment.
In this moment,
There is nothing to do,
No one to be.
You get to just let the animal of your body rest.
Let it sink in.
Unfurl.
Let gravity win.
And notice that in this moment,
You are safe.
There's nothing you need to figure out,
Nothing you need to plan or protect.
Right now,
You get to just relax into this moment.
The abundance of air to be breathed.
The way your body just knows on its own how to begin to let go.
Finding the ease in this moment,
No matter how small,
Finding the place in the body where there is some ease.
And letting the attention rest there.
Letting yourself sip from that pond,
And take in that nourishment.
Letting it ripple into all of you.
And if it feels right,
Opening the eyes.
Letting them roam around until they find something that brings pleasure.
And just settling the attention there.
Noticing what it is about this that brings you home.
That brings you back to yourself.
Noticing where in the body you feel touched or moved.
And then as you're ready,
Returning to the body,
Closing the eyes.
And once more,
Just letting the attention sink down.
Rest.
You are held.
You are safe.
You deserve this.
And you get to give it to yourself.
You get to drink from the deep well of your own knowing.
Your own wisdom.
Your heart's wisdom.
Your body's wisdom.
And letting yourself just sink ever deeper into this nest of being.
Your nest resting on the earth,
Held up,
Supported,
Belonging.
This is what you are.
This is what you can return to anytime you choose.
This is yours,
Beloved.
Which is why your heart leaps in response.
You recognize it because it is yours.
Rest.
Ease.
Safety.
This is who you are.
