We begin by letting the body settle.
Just inviting it to really melt into whatever is holding you up right now.
Letting the breath deepen and reach particularly into any places of contraction.
Inviting space.
Letting the soft animal of the body melt into what is holding it up.
Taking it in that in this moment you are completely safe.
Nothing to figure out or fix.
Just allowing the system to settle.
And envisioning a seed right at the center of the chest.
A seed of light.
Perhaps a small spark or a warm glow.
As you bring your attention to this seed,
To this light.
Extending a root.
Extending out of it.
Reaching down through the midline of the body.
All the way down through the root chakra.
And beyond the body down down into the earth.
Twisting and stretching deep into the earth.
Perhaps all the way to the center.
Anchoring you.
And now visualizing a channel stretching up from this seed of light in the chest.
Up up through the midline,
The throat,
The head all the way to the crown chakra and beyond.
This channel stretches high up beyond you to the sky.
And even beyond that into the cosmos.
Maybe even reaching beyond this galaxy.
And now you have these two channels bringing together the earthly embodied human part and also the mystery,
The divine.
That which all creative energy draws from.
And opening both of these channels from the root drawing earth energy up,
Up,
Up.
Giving it a color,
A texture,
Pulling up just as roots draw nourishment from the earth.
So this channel draws the earth energy up into the heart.
And simultaneously this channel extending up from the heart.
Up all the way into the cosmos is pulling energy down.
You may envision this as light.
Quick,
Slippery.
Perhaps it has a color.
Pulling this beautiful energy down,
Down through the crown of the head,
Down through the throat right into the center of the chest.
And as you draw from both of these sources,
The light,
The seed of light at the center of the chest is beginning to bloom.
It's growing into a sphere of light.
A radiance.
A clear warm energy.
That keeps growing.
Filling the chest.
Reaching down into the abdomen and up into the throat.
Down through each of the limbs and up through the entire head.
Until it ripples through all of you,
This beautiful creative light.
Feeling this open channel through the midline.
And this light reaching even beyond the edges of you,
Rippling through,
Filling your entire being with warmth and light.
Opening yourself to whatever is ready to move through you and take shape in the world.
And as you're ready,
Opening your eyes and settling down to begin the divine work.
Of creating.
