Or even during the middle of your day.
We could be taking it for granted.
Let's feel the connection between our bodies and the floor.
Notice each point that connects to your body to the floor.
Begin to feel the heaviness of the body sinking into the floor.
Now come to notice your breath.
Feel the belly rise and fall.
Feel your chest rise and fall.
Begin to feel the lightness of the body as you bring awareness to your breath.
The body is completely relaxed.
The mind is completely aware.
Your body is feeling light.
Let's bring awareness to the toes.
Feel the toes on both your feet.
Envision your toes attached to your foot.
The big toe.
The fourth toe.
Third toe.
Second toe.
And your pinky toe.
Feel your heel.
Your sole.
Your ankle.
Feel both of your feet together.
Can you feel your left leg?
Your shin?
Your calf muscle?
Your knee?
Your thigh?
The whole side of the left leg?
What about your right leg?
Can you feel your shin on the right leg?
Your calf muscle?
Your knee?
Your thigh?
The whole side of the right leg?
Can you feel both legs together?
Now let's focus on your hips,
Your lower back,
Your middle back,
Your upper back,
Your whole back.
Now I'm sure you can feel your left shoulder blade,
Your right shoulder blade,
Your left shoulder,
Your left upper arm,
Your left elbow,
Your left lower arm,
Your left wrist,
Your left hand,
Your right shoulder,
Your right upper arm,
Your right elbow,
Your right lower arm,
Your right wrist,
Your right hand.
Both arms together.
Now let's focus on the front of your body,
Your chest,
Your ribs,
Your belly,
The whole front of your body.
How do you feel?
What's on your mind?
Day after day,
Your body carries you.
It doesn't fail you,
But you can fail your body.
Let's prevent failing it today.
Let's remember to nourish it and take care of it.
Your body is your temple.
Now can you feel your neck,
The back of your head,
Your forehead,
Your left eyebrow,
Your right eyebrow,
The space in between your eyebrows,
Your left eye,
Your right eye,
Your left cheek,
Your right cheek.
Your jaw,
Your tongue,
Your lips,
Your chin,
Your throat,
Your whole head,
Your whole body together.
Feel the lightness of the whole body together.
Relax and feel heavy.
Sink into the floor.
Relax the whole body.
Whatever today brings to you,
Remember to nourish your body,
To take care of it.
You only get one body your whole lifetime.
