Are the same thoughts and behavior patterns keeping you stuck? Holding you back from living the true life you deeply desire and were created to live? In the Christian Tradition, that life is called your Christ-like self. A life of peace, freedom, joy, and wholeness is waiting for you. You can go from year to year dragging with you the weight of your false unconscious self (your Christ unlike nature) or you can experience the teaching and spiritual prayer practice that will help you release yourself and give yourself the permission to live fully. Impact your life for good, which is to say for God. Jesus said, “In this world, there will be troubles, but take heart, for I have overcome the world.” and you can too. Seem impossible? Well, it’s not. Want to live in peace with a sense of grounding and confidence? It is possible. You do not have to be tossed around like a leaf in the winds of the world or the behaviors of the false self. When the storms of life hit, you do not have to sink. It is time to answer the invitation. Your true self is calling. This workshop offers you the way of transformation you’ve been hoping and praying for. Due to differences in time zones, we understand that not everyone will be able to join the session live. But that doesn’t mean you need to miss out. You can still purchase the workshop and the recordings will be sent to you after the session.

Students will...

  • Identify what is keeping them stuck

  • Recognize the difference between their true and false selves

  • Become aware of the motivations of the false self

  • Learn to recognize their false self in action

  • Learn to identify the things that hook them into self-defeating behaviors

  • Learn how to turn from the hooks and turn toward freedom

  • Recognize the deepest desire of the true self

  • Identify their deepest desires for their lives

  • Learn how to free themselves from others' opinions

  • Gain a level of confidence that emerges from this work

This learning experience includes:

  • A live 2-hour workshop which includes Q and A with Maria

  • The opportunity to connect live, face to face with Maria and other soul friends on this contemplative Christian path

  • A contemplative prayer practice to incorporate into your daily life

  • The spiritual discipline of practicing the Presence of God

  • Access to a private group to connect with other participants and continue the conversation

  • A recording of the workshop which you can access up to 3 months after the event

She is a Spiritual Director, retreat leader, & teacher within the Christian tradition for more than 20 years. She leads The Deeper Connection, a global Christian Community.
