So you can just let the eyes close,
Settling into the seat,
Drawing the breath in deeply,
Releasing and relaxing on the exhale,
Drawing the breath in and out in and out.
Feeling the movement in the body,
Noticing what might be coming up for you,
Any thoughts or feelings,
Any sensations in the body as you slow down.
Breathing deeper still,
You might imagine drawing the breath up from the ground through the floor,
Moving up through your body,
The feet and legs,
Torso,
And then releasing back into the earth,
Drawing the breath in and up through the body,
Exhaling back into the earth.
Exhaling back into the earth.
On the next in-breath,
You might feel that breath coming up through the body,
The belly lifting and rising,
The abdomen flaring,
Lifting,
The lungs filling,
Drawing the breath all the way up under the collarbones.
Sense how you might draw positive energy up from the earth and release anything you might be holding,
Any negative energy back down through the body,
The legs and feet into the floor,
And then the earth.
Breathing in and out.
Feeling the back lengthen as you draw the breath in,
The neck lifting,
The crown of the head drawing towards the ceiling.
And with the exhale,
Sensing how the shoulders drop,
The belly softens,
The body relaxes.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
