Finding Calm in the Mist of Chaos.
Welcome to this guided meditation.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat and if you feel safe and supported to do so,
Closing your eyes or finding a point of focus in front of you or looking down to the tip of your nose.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Let yourself settle into the present moment.
As you breathe,
Notice any thoughts that may arise.
Without judgment,
Simply observe them and let them pass.
Bring your attention to the sensation of your breath moving in and out of your body.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest and the expansion of your belly.
Now take a deep inhale through your nose and as you exhale,
Release any tension in your body.
Let go of any stress or worry you may be holding on to.
With each breath,
Imagine yourself becoming more and more relaxed.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Notice any sensations in your body.
Are there areas of tension or discomfort?
Bring your attention to those areas and imagine sending your breath to those places,
Allowing them to soften and release.
Take a moment now to simply be still and quiet,
Allowing yourself to fully experience the present moment.
Let yourself be present in this space of calm.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
Take one last deep breath in and exhale slowly.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself.
Remember,
You can return to the space of calm whenever you need it throughout your day.
Take a moment to check in with yourself and connect with your breath.
