Welcome.

Start by finding a comfortable seat or taking a walking meditation or laying down and beginning to take deep breaths in through your nose and exhale out of the mouth.

Deep full inhales guiding the breath into the belly,

Allowing your chest to expand.

And exhaling out of the mouth.

And take one more,

Gently fluttering your eyes closed if they are not closed already.

Continuing your breath now,

Breathing into the nose and slowly exhaling out through the nose.

In this meditation I just invite you to slow down,

To rest,

To reset and restore.

Beginning to guide your breath to the tips of your toes,

Moving through the soles of your feet,

The tops of your feet,

Through your heels and through your ankles.

Connecting with any sensation here.

Slowly moving the breath up through your shins and through the backs of your calves,

Up through your knees,

The back of your legs,

Through your hamstrings and through your quads.

Connecting the breath from the base of your tailbone up through your lower back,

Through your pelvis and up to your abdomen,

To your belly button.

Any feelings,

Sensations or emotions arise here.

Continuing on up through your back,

Guiding the breath through your chest and into your heart space.

Moving the breath through your shoulders,

Down your biceps,

Your triceps and your elbows,

To the forearms and through your palms,

All the way to your fingertips.

Guiding the breath back up through your arms,

To your shoulders and to your neck.

Moving the breath to elongate that space to the base of your head,

Guiding the breath through your chin and your cheekbones,

Rising more up through the back of your head,

Through your lips,

To your nose,

To your ears and through your eyes and your temples,

Further up the head,

Through your forehead,

Until your breath reaches the crown,

The top of your head.

And returning the breath to flow throughout the body.

What does it feel like to slow down?

How does your body feel?

Taking a few more rounds of deep breathing here.

Just allowing yourself to be in this moment with the breath,

With yourself.

Slowly bringing yourself back into the present,

Wriggling your toes,

Your fingers,

Taking a deep breath into the nose and exhaling out of the mouth.

When you are ready,

Gently opening your eyes.

Thank you for joining me for this guided meditation.

I'm Emanu Nicole.

May you be well.
