The intention of this talk is to journey to an awareness of the strong relationship between your feelings and your thoughts,
With the objective to move to a place to honor the connection between them and to become in full alignment with both your thoughts and your feelings.
So let's explore.
What came first?
The feelings or the thoughts?
I thought so I felt.
Or I felt so I thought.
I will provide a moment for your reflection.
Wonderful.
Did you think thoughts came first?
I was sitting peacefully and then started thinking about my life and became concerned?
You are right.
Did you think feelings came first?
I was sitting peacefully and my pet cuddled me,
Which made me feel loved.
And I thought to myself,
I just love this puppy.
You are right too.
It is both.
Sometimes we feel,
Which provokes thoughts,
And sometimes we think,
Which provokes feelings.
The truth of the matter is,
It truly is irrelevant which came first.
What is relevant is how you feel.
And what is relevant is how you think.
And what is relevant is that they are closely tied together.
There is power in our awareness of this connection.
Our focus towards understanding if our thoughts provoked our feelings,
Or if our feelings provoked our thoughts.
This is pure power.
The awareness and the purposefulness and focus of feeling good and guiding your thoughts to thoughts that empower you.
This is where your power lies.
There is a movement in society to be positive,
Optimistic,
And to have a sunny side thinking.
However,
Positive thoughts do not always honor your feelings.
And this can often lead to resentment,
Anger,
Or feeling of being disconnected.
This is what is called toxic positivity.
Instead,
What serves is shifting to empowering thoughts,
Thoughts that honor your feelings.
Growth-oriented and self-empowering thoughts that honor,
Acknowledge,
And appreciate all your feelings,
And then guide you to a place of peace to drive you forward.
This is achieved by learning to understand yourself,
By becoming aware of your body,
Becoming aware of your thoughts,
And understanding your patterns,
Feeling thoughts or thoughts feelings.
Acknowledge your desire towards alignment of emotions and thoughts.
And at this point,
Let us lead with some intentions.
The intention to honor your body,
Heart,
Mind,
And ego.
The intention to honor the relationships between thoughts and feelings.
The intention to recognize that at times,
Feelings may invoke thoughts.
The intention to recognize that at times,
Thoughts may invoke feelings.
The intention to find alignment between feelings and thoughts.
The intention towards alignment that is self-empowering and growth-oriented to access harmony,
Peace,
Self-worth,
Love,
And freedom.
The intention to honor and appreciate yourself on this journey of self-awareness,
Discovery,
Growth,
And truth.
Many of these intentions will integrate immediately,
And some may take the time that is best for your highest good.
Be compassionate as your body,
Heart,
Mind,
And ego recalibrate to invoke harmony,
Peace,
And alignment.
