Welcome to It Is Not Personal.
The intention of this meditation is to guide you to an awareness of the fact that most,
If not everything,
That unfolds in your life is not personal.
When you're able to depersonalize the things that unfold around you,
You can remain grounded,
Focused,
And purposeful on what is important to you.
The complexity of the multiple variable dynamics going on around this world is amazing.
At any one point,
There are so many things that are happening around you and to you.
In this state of busyness and commotion,
It is really easy to personalize all of the things that happen to you.
For example,
A car cuts you off.
Personal or not personal?
The car cuts you off because you had advertly turned into his lane.
Personal or not personal?
The service person at the store was not kind to you.
Personal or not personal?
Fight with your partner.
Personal or not personal?
For some of these examples,
It's much easier to arrive at the not personal.
As you start to get into intimate relationships or something that appears to have resulted as a reaction to you,
Things start to appear much more personal.
However,
None of them are actually personal.
In each of these scenarios,
The outcome of action and reaction could unfold in multiple ways.
And the cause for the action or reaction could be due to multiple reasons.
A person cutting you off might be late for an interview.
The person who reacts to you cutting them off might have been bullied.
The service person may have just found out some bad news.
Your spouse may have had a hard day at work.
In any case,
None of these are personal.
Once you arrive at the recognition that nothing in life is personal,
You will be in full liberation and freedom with all of life's happenings and relationships.
This is your journey to be able to embrace and be self-empowered to recognize that the easiest way to diffuse a reaction to any action is simply by not taking it personally.
As your day unfolds,
Recognize moments of taking things personally.
Gently become aware of and acknowledge these feelings.
Appreciate your opportunity to let go and grow and release.
Be compassionate as you recondition your mind.
It has taken you years to get there.
Let your mind take the time that it needs to be reconditioned to a place of freedom,
The time that is best for your highest good.
These concepts will begin to integrate into your heart,
Mind,
Body,
And soul.
Feel free to return to this inspiration until you recondition yourself to discover and embrace the life that you want to live.
