Welcome to the three-minute breathing space with Maya Love MD,
A wellness practice to help you become more adaptive to change.
When you are ready,
Find a place where you can focus and take a seat.
Perhaps soften the gaze or close the eyes.
Perhaps lightly bring your attention to the breath,
Deepening into the acceptance of your current experience just as it is.
Neither wrong nor right,
Bad nor good,
True nor false.
Perhaps become aware of your internal and external experiences in the present moment.
Notice any body sensations,
Thoughts,
Feelings,
And perhaps deepen into acceptance of what is.
Then maybe allow yourself to simply focus on the breath,
The inhale and the exhale and any spaces in between.
Perhaps allow the breath to slow and then to fully expand and then fully deflate the lungs.
And then maybe the belly button moves away from the spine on the inhale and then hugs in towards the spine on the exhale.
Maybe you feel held by the air around you,
Supported by the earth beneath you,
And perhaps you become a little bit more spacious.
And maybe expand your awareness from the very center point of view outwards,
Fully into the body,
And into the space around you.
If you would like to continue with this meditation after the guided section is finished,
When you are ready to complete your practice,
Gradually release the experience,
Allowing it to slowly dissolve.
Gently perhaps bring your attention back to the center or essence of your being,
And then to the heartbeat,
And then to the breath.
Then gently begin to notice the body if you like,
Perhaps wiggling the fingers and the toes,
Beginning to stretch and move.
Then open the eyes or redirect the gaze and return to the rest of your time.
Thank you.
