Take a break from studying and recharge your mind with this empowering visualization practice. This is a guided meditation to help set you up for exam success and to calm your mind in between study sessions. You deserve this break, so come and rest and prepare yourself for a wonderful achievement. Designed to help you with focus, and anxiety and to help you feel more prepared, this practice is a secret weapon in exam or test-taking success. This meditation is my own version of a meditation I used to do when I was studying, and so is very much inspired by Jason Stephenson. Do not listen to this while driving or operating heavy machinery. Hello,

My name is Kala and this is a guided meditation to help plant the seeds of exam taking success.

So often people have issues with taking exams not because they don't have the knowledge or capabilities,

But because of the stress of the exam taking process.

This is a visualization meditation that I have done for years to prepare myself for the exam,

To be able to enter the space in a cool and calm manner.

So take this study break and find a comfortable seat or if you prefer you might lie down and find your own comfortable position.

On your way there you may even want to stretch gently in the shoulders and the neck which is probably sore from studying.

When you are ready,

Begin to bring your attention to your breath,

That powerful friend that is there for you in any moment of stress to bring ease to your nervous system.

Allow yourself to feel the ebb and the flow of the breath moving in and out of the body.

Invite that breath to gently deepen and slow.

Become aware of the rise and the fall of the stomach.

Feel the presence of the air moving in and out of the lungs and allow the body to relax simply by inviting in the energy of release with the exhale.

Grant yourself permission to let go and to rest.

I know you have been studying really hard and so much and this moment of rest and energy work is well deserved and will pay off in dividends.

You owe yourself this moment,

Allow it fully.

Use the breath to enter relaxation and to send that relaxation to all of the parts of the body that may be stiff or tense or sore.

It's okay,

You can come back to your studies.

This moment of rest will allow you to access your mind in a better way.

It will allow you to store memory.

This is for the benefit of your exams.

Allow yourself to relax.

It's even fine if you completely lose consciousness.

Know that your subconscious will take over.

Imagine now that it is your exam day and you are outside the exam venue and you are cool and calm and collected.

You are calm and confident knowing that you have studied sufficiently.

This day is a beautiful opportunity to show how much you have grown and developed.

You smile gently to yourself knowing full well that this will flow with ease.

You are well rested,

You have slept and you feel focused and clear.

You use your breath to remain present and centered.

You calmly enter the examination hall and find your seat.

See your desk,

Place your pens and anything you need for the exam upon that desk.

Look up at the clock on the wall.

Feel the calm and quiet of this space.

All of the other student's energy cannot affect you because you are centered and present.

You are calm and relaxed.

And you are powerful because you can tap into the calm of your breath.

You are able to focus your mind.

You are the one that chooses your perspective.

And so you choose right now in this moment to believe in your capabilities.

Whatever study you have done up to this point is surely enough.

For you are enough.

You sit down at your desk and wait for the moment to begin.

And when you are allowed to start,

You confidently turn the page and see that you know all of the answers.

Without rushing,

You answer all of the questions.

The answers flow out of you with ease and you finish with enough time to check your paper.

After reading through,

You are satisfied that these are all the correct answers.

You feel excited to hand the paper in.

You already know you have excelled.

Congratulations!

Allow yourself to feel the satisfaction and the ease of this accomplishment.

You are enough.

You have done enough.

You do enough.

Allow the image to fade out and come back into your body.

Come back to this meditation often and rest in between your study sessions and set yourself up for success.

And let us end with these affirmations.

I am already success.

Studying is easy for me.

I have an incredible memory.

I am cool,

Calm and collected.

All is well.

I am already success.

Gently wriggle your fingers and toes and come back into the space.
