Hello,
My name is Carla and this is a guided meditation to help induce lucid dreaming.
Before choosing to practice lucid dreaming it is a good idea to get a motivation and to consider why it is that you want to lucid dream.
What is it that you want to achieve here?
Do you want to experience the thrill of flying and playing or even breathing water?
Or do you wish to explore the depths of your psyche to bring healing and understanding?
Or perhaps you want to meet your guiding spirits or even crossed over loved ones?
Whatever your reason it need not remain the same each day but take a moment to choose what you wish to invoke tonight.
At any point in this meditation feel free to let go of the active listening and to drift gently off to sleep.
Find your comfortable position in your bed,
Make sure everything is ready and become aware of yourself in your room.
Where are you positioned in this room?
What else is present within the room?
What position are you lying in?
Where is your room situated within the house?
Where is the house or perhaps block of flats situated within the neighborhood?
If you could zoom out all the way what might you see?
This need not be perfectly accurate,
Just simply allow yourself to imagine that you are zooming out until you see your province or state,
Your country and then the continent and then the entire earth from space.
Take a moment to peer down at your home before you begin to zoom slowly back in and come back to your body.
Hover over yourself and look at yourself lying in your bed.
Enter back into your body.
Call for your guiding spirits to surround you and state your intention in the affirmative.
It might sound something like this.
Tonight I will lucid dream.
I will become aware of the dream space.
I will become conscious within my dreams.
I will check for dream symbols.
I will notice my environment and see that it defies the normal laws of physics.
I invoke lucid dreams tonight.
I call for the powers of my spirit guides and I invoke lucidity.
I am aware of my environment.
I am awake.
Am I dreaming?
As we move into relaxation allow yourself to drift away in the body as you allow the mind to inquire.
Am I dreaming?
If you find yourself in an environment look around you and ask.
Dreaming.
Become aware now of the physical body.
Breathe in deeply and tense all of the muscles of the body as you hold the breath and release on the exhale.
Am I dreaming?
Let's do two more like this.
Inhale and tense the body.
Hold.
Exhale.
Let go.
Am I dreaming?
And one more time.
Inhaling deeply.
Hold and tense the body.
Exhale and release.
Am I dreaming?
Bring your attention to the feet.
Imagine that you are breathing into the feet.
Am I dreaming?
Breathe up into the legs.
Allow the legs to relax.
Am I dreaming?
Breathe now into the base of the spine.
As the breath travels up the spine it creates a glowing light.
First at the belly button,
Then at the solar plexus and finally reaching the heart space and lighting that heart up.
Opening the heart and breathing the light into the throat.
The third eye and exhaling out the crown.
Am I dreaming?
Breathe into the base of the spine and see the light traveling all the way up and breathe out the crown.
Am I dreaming?
Breathe now into the palms of the hands and allow yourself to relax.
Call in energy right into the palms of the hands allowing it to travel up the arms.
Am I dreaming?
And exhale out the crown of the head.
The hands are a useful tool for you look at your hands many many times throughout the day and if you are aware that the hands will look different in the dream realms you can look down at the hands and see.
Am I dreaming?
Breathe now into the crown of the head allowing that light to travel down the spine this time exhaling out the base of the spine.
Imagine that line of energy clearing out any blockages in the spinal column.
Know that you are safe and protected as you allow the body to sleep and the mind to inquire.
