Within this meditation, you'll be guided to cut the energetic cord with a relationship that no longer serves you. This process can be repeated many times for the same individual but often times just once will give you the energetic release that you need.

In this meditation,

You will be guided gently to release a relationship that is no longer serving your higher good,

And so allow yourself to sit or lie down,

Feel completely comfortable,

And close your eyes.

You're going to take a deep breath in for the count of 5,

4,

3,

2,

1,

And now hold your breath for 5,

4,

3,

2,

And 1.

Take a slow exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2,

And 1.

Notice how good that felt.

To just deepen your breath.

Notice how it calms the thoughts in your mind.

Notice how much more relaxed you feel in this moment than you did just a few moments ago.

So let's do that again.

You know what to do.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in for the count of 5,

4,

3,

2,

1,

And now hold your breath for 5,

4,

3,

2,

And 1,

And a slow exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2,

And 1.

You're doing wonderfully.

Your breath knows exactly what to do.

Let's do this one more time,

Because it feels so great.

Take a nice,

Slow,

Deep breath in for 5,

4,

3,

2,

1,

And now hold the breath for 5,

4,

3,

2,

And 1,

And then a gentle exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2,

And 1.

And allow your breath to return to its natural state,

Feeling more relaxed,

More calm than you were just a few moments ago.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly,

The clarity of your mind,

And feel a wave of relaxation washing over your body,

Washing away any remaining tension,

Washing away any worrisome thoughts.

And as you bring your awareness back to the rise and fall of your belly,

I want to remind you that it can be so easy to let go.

Just as simple as it is to take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,

You can choose to release any relationships that are not serving you.

This is always your choice,

And so I want you to imagine that you are sitting next to a river.

It's a peaceful and calm river.

You're watching the water flow,

Gently,

Softly.

You notice leaves flowing on the top of the water,

Flowing down the stream.

You feel so calm and relaxed in this space.

It feels so good to simply be here,

And to watch the leaves float by in the river.

And in this moment you feel ready.

You feel ready to let go,

Because you desire to float just as easily down the river as the leaves that you see flowing on the surface of the water.

See yourself standing up and walking along the river.

And as you're walking along the river,

You're feeling more and more courageous,

More and more certain that the time is now to let go of an unhealthy relationship in your life.

A relationship that simply no longer serves you in this moment.

You feel a sense of peace and calm and certainty.

You know that this is the right thing for you to do,

And you're already starting to feel the lightness that's associated with letting go of this relationship.

And as you're walking along the river,

Feeling the earth beneath your feet,

You arrive at a bridge.

And as you step onto this bridge,

You can see an individual standing on the other side of the bridge.

You feel drawn to this person.

You feel connected to this person.

And in this moment,

You notice that there is an energetic cord connecting your solar plexus to theirs.

You are connected from one side of the bridge to the other.

Feel this energetic and magnetic pull to this individual.

See this person clearly in your mind's eye.

Feel how connected you are to this person in this moment.

And feel a certain heaviness to this energetic tie that in a moment you are going to release.

I want you to look deeply into this person's eyes and say thank you for the lessons,

To say thank you for the experiences,

To say thank you for everything beautiful that they brought into your life,

Especially the challenging moments that you were given the opportunity to learn and grow from.

In this moment,

Say thank you.

And as you look into their eyes,

I want you to ask them for forgiveness for all of the ways that you unknowingly brought hurt or pain into their life.

Ask for their forgiveness,

And see a gentle smile come to their face,

A slow up and down nodding of their head as they say the words I forgive you.

And as you look into their eyes,

Offer them forgiveness for all of the ways they knowingly or unknowingly hurt you.

It is time for you to release and let go,

To let go of the energetic ties and cords that hold you together.

And so imagine that you are pulling a knife or a sword or even a pair of scissors out of your pocket.

And as you look into this person's eyes,

Send them love,

Cut this energetic cord,

And see your tie dissolving between the two of you.

You're choosing in this moment to let them go.

You're saying thank you for the lessons and experiences.

You're asking for forgiveness for all the ways you unknowingly hurt them.

You're offering them forgiveness for all of the ways they knowingly or unknowingly hurt you,

And you're releasing them with love back into the world.

See,

Sense,

And feel the energetic cord between the two of you dissolving.

Feel yourself lighter.

See this person turn around and walk away,

And with every step they take,

You allow yourself to feel more peace and calm and certainty.

You allow yourself to feel comfortable with letting them go,

Releasing them from your life.

And as you turn around and walk away,

Returning back to the river's edge,

You notice a small boat.

Step into the boat and lie down.

Feel how good it feels to have let go of this relationship,

This person who no longer serves you.

And as you push the boat gently away from the shore,

You allow the gentle current of the river to pull you downstream,

Feeling completely relaxed,

Completely trusting in the flow of life,

Knowing that with releasing and letting go of what no longer serves you,

You allow yourself to make space to be carried to your greatest good.

You allow yourself to be carried into the relationships that are loving and nurturing.

Breathe in peace,

Breathe out any stress or worries,

And as you're floating down the river,

Repeat the following affirmation in your mind.

I am grateful for the loving and supportive relationships in my life.

I am grateful for the loving and supportive relationships in my life.

I am grateful for the loving and supportive relationships in my life.

Allow these words to sink into every aspect of your being.

These words are your new truth.

You're only available for the most loving and supportive relationships from this moment forward,

And you allow them to flow naturally and easily into your life.

I invite you to stay in this relaxing space as long as it feels good for you.

This meditation is coming to an end now,

But remember,

You are deserving of loving and supportive relationships in your life.

Incredible, powerful with the visualization of the bridge and context to go with it. Thank you. Much needed for the beginning of releasing and walking away from a romantic relationship that I knew deep down simply wasn’t serving me, but didn’t want to admit that to myself thinking it would/could change. Deep down I knew this, and was having trouble letting go. This meditation has helped me recognize that it really is time. Making the space as you mentioned was the boost that I so desperately needed. I love the way she carries the soul with her instructions. I have a question, please kindly feedback. I shedded lots of tear while following instruction to forgive to that person and ask to forgive to me as well. Also in final affirmation, I am overwhelmed and filled with tears while meditation. Could you let me know any further practice I should go or should I repeat this session until I feel totally normal as other meditation?

It’s been a week since this meditation and I feel so lighter and liberated from the negative energy that tied me down. Beautiful, powerful meditation for when you need to let someone go, or at least let the energy of that relationship go until a future time. Music was a little distracting. But thank you.
