
Self Love | Guided Practice
Move through the blocks you have to self-love with this guided practice to help you love yourself and see your worth. You are valuable. You are beautiful. Remind yourself daily of your value with this guided meditation. (Adapted from the self-love meditation by Lisa Nichols)
Transcript
Allow yourself to be in a comfortable position,
Whether you prefer to be seated or lying down.
Close your eyes and just feel into your body.
Just acknowledge how you're feeling in this moment.
Acknowledge if your mind won't stop spinning.
Acknowledge any worries or concerns or thoughts.
And just allow that to all be okay.
In this moment acknowledge yourself today just as you are.
Accept who you are,
Past,
Present and future.
And take this time to just be with you.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Let's do that two more times.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Feel yourself relaxed with every breath.
And once more take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
And I want you to imagine a white light of healing,
Protective energy around your body.
See yourself in a beautiful bubble of white light and feel this positive energy throughout your entire body.
It's as though you were being given an energetic hug.
Your body feels completely relaxed and your mind is open to incorporating every single one of my suggestions today.
I'm going to count down from five to one.
And as I count down your breathing begins to deepen.
Your body continues to relax.
All outside noise and chatter and distraction dissolves.
Five.
Breathe deep and feel peace within your core.
Four.
Breathing out.
Trust your feelings of inner worthiness.
Accept yourself fully.
Know what you've always known.
Three.
Take another deep breath in.
Feel your body.
Know your worth.
You've always been valuable.
You've always been special.
Two.
Continue breathing deep.
Let go of past thoughts or fears and replace them with new possibilities.
One.
You're at complete peace.
You're available and open to telling and creating a new story.
You are sitting in your power.
Now I want you to imagine that you're standing in front of the most beautiful pool you've ever seen.
The sunlight is reflecting like diamonds on the water.
The water looks so inviting that you can't help but strip down and slide into the pool.
You're completely alone.
You feel at peace.
You feel safe.
You feel secure.
You can feel a light breeze on your body.
And it just feels so delicious you decide to gently lie back and float.
The temperature of the water is absolutely perfect.
The buoyancy is just right that you don't even have to try to float.
You are held.
You are safe.
You are present.
You are floating in this safe space,
Completely alone and completely supported.
You feel surrounded by warmth and protection.
Your worries fade away.
And instead you feel contentment.
You feel ease.
You feel at peace.
Focus on the following words with a gentle awareness.
Feel free to repeat after me in your mind.
I love and bless my past.
I love,
Bless and release my past.
I have learned from all of my experiences and my lessons prepare me for my most amazing future.
I've needed every single experience to prepare me for this moment.
There's no need to apologize for my past choices.
I've made the best choices I could based on what I knew.
And today I live in possibility.
Shame,
Blame,
Guilt,
Regret or anger have no power over me.
I release the shame.
I release the blame.
I release the guilt.
I release regret.
I release anger.
I say goodbye right now.
I have no right to live in my body.
I am my own best friend.
I speak on my behalf.
I choose to love me first.
I will be the example of what it looks like to love myself.
I declare what I need and I give myself what I need.
I have everything I need to live a joyful and abundant life within me.
There is nothing I need outside of me to feel whole and complete.
Everything I need is within.
I am enough.
I've always been enough.
Every decision I've ever made was the best decision in that moment based on what I knew.
My decisions have either brought me great experiences or great lessons and I've needed them both.
Take a deep breath in,
A deep breath out and allow yourself to continue to feel the support and the warmth of the water around you.
As I count backwards from five to one,
You'll allow yourself to go deeper into meditation.
Five.
Take a deep breath in.
Feel your body relax even deeper.
Four.
A gentle exhale as you release any tension,
Any stress.
Three.
Take a deep breath in,
Relaxing,
Sinking deeper.
Two.
Letting go of the breath,
Sinking deeper into meditation.
And one.
I bless my lessons.
I bless the lessons I've learned through my family.
I bless understanding why and who they are and that I'm enough regardless of what's happened.
I bless the lessons I've learned through my intimate relationships.
And as I mature,
As I grow,
I have more compassion for myself and forgiveness of myself.
I bless the lessons I've learned through the difficult moments in my life.
I bless the lessons I've learned through my financial challenges.
And it's because of my lessons that I grow.
It's because of my lessons I'm ready for my next blessing.
I recognize that my past experiences have nothing to do with my worth.
I'm already worthy.
I am enough.
I am designed to win.
Victory is mine.
And the outcome is assured.
It is my job to enjoy my journey.
It's my job to celebrate the small wins.
Take a deep breath in and acknowledge within this moment,
I am enough.
I've always been enough.
And every experience I've had makes me the beautiful person I am today.
Every experience I've had,
Every painful,
Challenging,
And unfair experience needed to happen to make me strong,
To make me forgiving,
To facilitate my greatness.
I am here.
I am whole.
I am complete.
I am a powerful being of possibility,
And today I declare unapologetically that I'm stepping into my greatness.
I am allowing my light to shine.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
And imagine yourself slowly standing up in the pool,
Exiting the pool,
And standing there naked unapologetically standing in your greatness.
Today,
I stand in my greatness.
I recognize my genius,
And I embrace my brilliance.
Today I decide that I am enough.
No longer will I dim my light so that others won't feel insecure in my presence.
No longer will I dim my light to make sure that I'm acceptable.
No longer will I dim my light for fear of other people's perception of me.
Today I embrace who I am.
I own who I am.
And I now realize that dimming my light does not serve the planet.
I shine my light and illuminate the darkness that others might be sitting in.
I shine my light as an expression of self-love,
An example for others,
Knowing that when I give myself permission to shine my light brightly,
That someone watching will do the same.
So today,
In this moment,
In this meditation,
I declare my greatness.
I'm ready.
I've been ready for a long time.
I just needed to stop.
I needed to release my doubt,
Release my worry,
And release my fears.
I now acknowledge that I am ready.
I realize that I don't need to wait until I'm perfect.
That it's in my imperfection that I am perfect.
Breathing in,
I am perfect in my imperfection.
And breathing out,
I let go of all of the lies I once believed about myself.
I breathe in the truth that I know my future is nothing but breathtaking,
Life-changing,
Beautiful experiences.
And I exhale doubt and worry.
I breathe in all the love and joy that I deserve.
And I breathe out the doubt and worry that people won't accept me as I am.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
And feel free to repeat after me either out loud or in your mind's eye.
I am a good person.
I am confident and strong.
I value and honor my boundaries.
My self-esteem is growing day by day.
I believe in myself and my abilities.
I am in control of my life.
I am happy and full of joy.
I am creating a beautiful life.
I deserve to be happy.
I am worthy of love and attention.
I deserve success and wealth.
Believing in myself comes naturally to me.
I am worthy of having great relationships.
Every day my self-worth is growing.
I am attracting good things into my life.
I am attracting positive people and experiences into my life.
I respect my boundaries.
I am respected by people around me.
I am worthy of respect and appreciation.
I deserve to be treated with respect.
I love and respect myself for who I am.
I am worthy of love.
I am worthy of success and happiness.
I make a difference in the world.
I have wonderful talents to share with the world.
I am worthy of making my dreams come true.
I deserve to have what I want.
I love the person I am becoming.
I am improving every day.
I make good and wise decisions.
I believe in myself and my abilities.
I am filled with love.
I love myself.
Now take a deep breath and an open mouth exhale.
Just be aware of your body.
Feel the beat of your heart,
The rise,
The fall of your chest.
Begin to notice your hands and your fingertips.
Finally bring the thumb to touch the tip of each finger.
Scan through your body and notice how you feel.
Perhaps begin to move your body in bigger ways,
Slowly stretching into your new possibility.
Feel your greatness moving through your body via your breath.
Feel alive and gratitude that today you get to be you.
Slowly open your eyes.
Feel the movement in your cheeks as you smile to yourself,
Knowing that today you get to be you and share yourself with the world.
