Today I will introduce you to the solar plexus chakra and will give you some background information and context.
Then I will lead you through a guided meditation to bring the solar plexus chakra into balance.
Manipura or the solar plexus chakra is the third chakra and it is associated with self-esteem,
Competence and willpower.
Manipura means illustrious gem in Sanskrit.
The Manipura chakra is located in the area around the navel.
It begins two inches above the navel and goes up to the sternum.
It is the core of your identity and personality.
The element associated with Manipura is fire.
This chakra channels energy to the organs in charge of digestion and purification including the stomach,
Pancreas,
Liver,
Gallbladder,
Spleen,
Adrenals,
Lumbar vertebrae and digestive system.
Just as the chakra is in charge of movement and digestion,
It is in charge of transforming your thoughts into action.
The color associated with the solar plexus chakra is yellow.

You are able to be your authentic self and shine a balanced Manipura allows you to manifest,
To transform and take action when Manipura is balanced,
You take responsibility for your actions and your life you are a lustrous gem you shine,
You glow you are confident in yourself you are filled with self esteem your strong yellow energy radiates from within you are comfortable in your own power you follow through on your actions and manifest your desire I invite you now to join me in a meditation to bring your solar plexus chakra into balance find a comfortable position allow your body to relax feel the support of the chair or ground beneath you close your eyes this is your time let go of worry notice any sounds outside of the room acknowledge them and let them go notice any sounds inside of the room acknowledge them and let them go let your body relax release your scalp and hair let your forehead relax relax your face and jaw drop your shoulders feel them soften relax your arms and hands release your feet and legs let your whole body relax begin to notice your breath now notice the inhale and the exhale if thoughts intrude allow them to float by and then return back to the breath now bring your attention to your solar plexus the area around your belly button visualize a yellow light see the light swirling clockwise around your belly button like a whirlpool as you visualize the yellow light swirling around your stomach watch the yellow light start to spread getting bigger and bigger as it spins watch now as the healing yellow light begins to spread connecting with all the chakras filling your entire body the healing yellow light travels up into your chest your head down into your arms and hands into your pelvis your legs and toes as the healing yellow light begins to fill you you are filled with a sense of control balance confidence and loving assertiveness you feel strong in your sense of identity you feel connected to your fire and courage visualize now the healing yellow light forming a protective bubble around you feel the warmth from the positive yellow energy allow yourself to swim in feelings of well-being in the protective yellow bubble you are free to be your authentic self you shine brightly you shine like a gem in the protective yellow bubble you allow yourself to feel your own power your unbound potential to transform repeat silently to yourself I am a lustrous gem I shine I glow I am confident in myself I am filled with self-esteem my strong yellow energy radiates from within I am comfortable within my own power I follow through on my actions and manifest my desires bring your attention back to your stomach area and focus on the yellow light of the solar plexus chakra visualize the healing yellow light getting smaller swirling down coming back to the solar plexus bring the yellow light back down to be the size of a small yellow stone you are bringing the chakra back down to normal functioning size now silently to yourself repeat my solar plexus chakra is working and is at a normal function once again bring your attention back to the flow of your breath notice the breath in and the breath out if thoughts intrude return back to the breath noticing your inhale and exhale now become aware of your full body again bring your attention to your toes maybe move them back and forth notice your fingers your shoulders let yourself become aware of the room notice the sounds around you and when you feel ready slowly open your eyes and return back into the room thank you for joining me today please come back to this meditation time and time again if it serves you sending you love and light many blessings
