Hello and welcome.
My name is Abigail Marcy and today I will guide you through meditation to nurture the delicate flower within.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Turn off all notifications and bring your attention to your breath.
Breathing in,
Allowing the lungs to fill and exhale,
Let it all go.
Close your eyes and bring your attention within.
Take another deep breath in and gently release.
With each breath you are inviting in calm,
Safety and peace.
Tuning in now to the base of your spine.
See a golden cord going from the base of your spine down into the center of the earth.
This grounding cord is here to let go of anything that no longer serves you.
You don't have to think about what you need to let go of.
Just know that this golden cord is here so that you can consciously and unconsciously let go of patterns,
Behaviors,
Emotions or anything that needs to be sent down to the core of the earth to be transmuted and transmitted.
And now in your mind's eye,
See before you beautiful rich soil.
You can feel the soil with your hands.
Feeling its coolness and its moisture.
And in this soft nutrient-dense soil,
There is a single delicate flower.
Its petals are gentle and beautiful.
And the bud stretches towards the light.
This flower represents you.
Look at it now with curiosity,
Amazement and joy.
Observe its colors,
Its textures,
See how it moves with the breeze.
Notice its tenderness,
Its beauty,
Its delicacy.
And yet it stands tall,
Rooted in grace and strength.
See how there is a circle of light surrounding the flower.
A soft protective glow that keeps it safe.
See how this protective glow interacts with the world around it.
Communicating with the bees,
The birds,
The sun and the other flowers.
Now become the flower.
Step into the awareness as if you were the flower.
Look out through your eyes and see the world as if you were the flower.
Noticing,
Observing,
Seeing the world through fresh lenses.
As this beautiful,
Strong and safe flower.
Feel the aura around you,
The light surrounding your flower body.
Silently say to yourself,
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am held with love.
Go now to the roots of the flower and see how the roots are strong,
Nourished by the moisture and the water in the soil.
Send affirmations to the roots.
Nourish the flower and feel your spirit being replenished and restored.
Silently whisper to yourself,
I am gentle with myself.
I have everything I need.
I am rooted.
I am supported.
I have everything I need.
Now bring your awareness now to the petals.
As if you are seeing the world through the eyes of the petals.
Feel the sunlight pouring down over you.
Allow yourself to slightly open and reach towards the sunlight with grace and trust.
You slightly,
Ever so slightly readjust as the sun moves around you.
You are blooming and opening with intention,
Care and precision.
Silently say to yourself,
I am right on time.
I allow myself to unfold and open with grace.
And now as the sun goes down,
Your petals begin to close,
Coming back into a bud,
Safe and secure.
Feel how you are protected.
You are at peace.
You are in perfect harmony with the rhythm and cycles of nature.
You withdraw,
Knowing it is a sign of strength.
And now,
Silently in your mind's eye,
Say,
I honor my boundaries.
I protect my peace with love.
I am in tune with the natural rhythms and cycles of the earth.
And connect once more to the flower.
Be the whole flower.
Feel your roots,
Sturdy and steady in the earth.
Your long,
Tall stem leaves and then your petals.
Beautiful and delicate.
And then bring your attention back to your breath.
Letting go of the image now.
And bringing any insights or revelations with you.
When you feel ready,
Become aware of your surroundings.
Coming back into the room.
And then gently,
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Carrying this sense of tenderness and protection and acceptance for your delicate nature.
